The world will have to do what they do with the airlines, ie: have some type of security people on board some of these ships.
It doesn't have to be all of them. The pirates may be detered from attacking these vessels once they find out some are armed, and not knowing which ones are.

I took my granddaughter to places like that too, many times.
I'm taking her to the ocean this week, to walk out on the breakers with me, and collect shells and rocks. She's turning 13 in June, so I won't be doing this much more with her. She's starting to get "other" interests. (boys). LOL !!

i have recently become aware of jw apologist websites that have used my dad's name as well as my own to distort the role the societys' teachings played in my dad's refusal of a life saving kidney transplant and inevitably his death.
my dad's story is told in brief in numerous places on the internet.
Well I started reading this, and found out I DID read it before, but it was well worth the second read. It just reinforces how I feel towards the Watchtower Society. Murderers !

Start a hobby.
Join a club.
Find new "worldly" friends. It's never too late.

Scott77, thanks for bringing this back to the top, after a 9 month lapse. Somehow I missed this, although I knew of the situation. I'll be reading it, as soon as I find my magnifying glass.
What you need to realize is, the Watchtower quotes "worldy literature" ALL THE TIME.
In fact, I call the dictionary their second bible.
Plus, they always quote worldly scholars, too. Like you said, it's highly hypocritical, but the dubs don't even notice.

i find this as a way for my wife trying to avoid going to church with me on easter.. my wife has a meeting with the elders about her reinstatement sunday after the wt study, which is indeed true.
however, the only reason why she would go to church with me on easter is because i went with her to the memorial.
she tries to bargain her way out with this by she should go to church with me on good friday instead on easter.

Prior to 1919, it was good for the JWs to celebrate holidays. It was "good spiritual food" at the proper time and it was approved by God. When 1920 hit, they stopped celebrating holidays, trying to digg into its pagan roots.
Is there anything ........written in the Watchtower material....... that says God approved Holidays?
