  What does the Watchtower really think about women?

  in the watchtower book "let god be true", c. 1946, on page 24, it reads...quote.."for woman is merely a lowly creature whom god created for man as man's helper.

  " unquote.

  what happened to "women's lib"?

  Kingdom Hall For Sale

  Watchtower illustrations.... Are they "God inspired" also?

  the nwt bible at john 20, verse 25, clearly states "unless i see in his hands, the print of the nails, (plural) and stick my finger into the print of the nails, (plural) and stick my hand into his side.

  is the plural nails a typo?

  so, if this be the case, then why on page 66 of the knowledge book show the "god inspired" illustration of jesus on a stake with "one nail" (singular) through his wrists?

  "We do't believe in war."

  i've heard this time and again from my j.w.

  sister-in-law and daughter.

  yet, when i found this hymn book, "sing praises to jehovah", i was shocked to find war songs in it, such as ... "gaining victory over the world", page 3.. "god's warriors are advancing", page 39.. "proclaiming jehovah's day of vengeance", page 189.. "see jehovah's army"!

  in the "you can live forever" book on page 191, it states.."why can we (in capitals) be certain that god has a visible organization?

  one reason is that he has an invisible organization.".

  What is a "Kingdom Hall" graduation?

  my j.w.-in-laws had a party for three young people recently.

  i asked if it was a high school graduation party?

  they said no, it was a "kingdom hall" graduation party.
