If Ham was doing ok before the Flood then why did you use the adult, married Ham as an example of a child saved due to his parents righteousness? Why did you mention the fact that Ham committed a serious sin after the Flood in arguing that Ham was only saved thanks to his father's righteousness? You came up with this example.
You haven't answered any of my questions really. If you can't understand my questions, don't pretend you do.

Do you see or hear of any new Kingdom Hall constructions?
by JH init's been a heck of a while, since i've heard of any kingdom hall construction.
i remember back in the late 80's, almost every month, there was a new kingdom hall being built.

September 1st, 1939 4.45 AM from Polish perspective, which is when Hitler invaded Poland. September 17 the Soviets invaded us from the east acting on the secret Ribbentropp-Molotov pact they had with the Germans. I think on September 3 Britain declared war on Germany.

Generally, building new KHs in Western Countries makes little sense with 0% increase. Building new ones in poor countries never pays off monewise. But here in Poland they've recently built a few assembly halls.

It always puzzled me why WW2 wasn't foretold with such an accuraccy. I know, I know. That's because Christ started "ruling invisibly_TM" in 1914. Nothing that significantly invisible/invisibly significant happened

the tricky thing is that the fds (whoever they are) won't approve this change while they're still alive.
they don't care, they subconsciously feel it's their end anyway and they won't undermine their doctrinal position having lost all corporate power.. so who will send this beam of new light?

They currently believe that in the final days of the great tribulation - just before Armageddon the Gog of Magog will attack the annointed remnant, thus confirming the identity of the only true religion.

What obligation do you feel towards your family who are still in?
by czarofmischief ineverybody's situation is different, of course, and everybody has their own choices to make.. but do you recall that when we were dubs, we were constantly urged to go out in service, because people needed to hear what we thought was the truth?
they would use that scripture by paul, "i consider myself a debtor to all men" etc.
to enforce the moral compulsion to go door to door.. now that we know the truth about the truth; how obliged are we to tell our family?

The only family members I had in were:
1) My wife (She is mentally and physically out - her fade was slightly longer than mine, but we're both ready to be d'f-ed).
2) My mother. Three weeks ago I sent her CoC and some more materials and we had a few very long discussions. She stopped going to meetings and to FS altogether. The only thing she's unsure about is when to write a letter of disassociation. She's been a dub for 20 years.
3) My mother-in-law. She's reading CoC. She accepts our choice, and I think she'll follow suit with time.
Unlike me, all three of them remained believers. In terms of saving my family I consider myself a 100% successful fader.
I'm so exhausted with fading now that I'm now being pretty blunt with my former Jw friends. Anyone, I've fulfilled my family obligations. I realize though fading hardly ever turns out to be so successful.

Hi folks,
The very exchange of different points of view on this thread shows that the FDS doctrine is bound to create a huge dillemma in the WTS world soon.
True, the GB members are only figureheads now, but JWs need those figureheads to believe they have a special "channel of communication" with Jehovah. That's what they've been taught all their lives. When the FDS disappears who is going to "serve spiritual food in proper time"? Who will issue new blood policies? How will you know you can trust the WT in doctrinal issue?
