NOAH'S ARK WAS A SUBMARINE
by VM44 inaliens helped build noah's ark
file: ufo224
ancient tests reveal that noah's ark was built with the help of space aliens and that it was actually a submarine especially made to help him survive the great flood, say experts.

to be more specific, it was a nuclear submarine with laserguided IBCMs on board. noah nuked all unbelievers and saved himself and his family by staing in the submarine.
that's also the reason why people think this earth is millions of years old instead of it's actual age of about ~6000 years. the nukes made dating using the radio-carbon method useless.
this of course was well planned by the lizard space aliens. -

"You guys are the most preachy atheists I've ever met!"
by GetBusyLiving ina christian friend of mine had a melt down this weekend and screamed at my roommate about both of us being "preachy atheists".
he also said, in talking about me, that "i can see it in his eyes, he think's he's right!
" it was after a bunch of drinks at a bar and my roommate said that he was nearly in tears.

but some apes don't think that their ape daddy in the sky is going to come and make the world better, but that they are stuck with their own ape problems.

by googlemagoogle insome 5 years and longer ago there was a page dedicated to jws on miningco/about.com.
a brother was the admin but later it seemed the org made him close down the site.
there was a chatroom on that site, i was pretty active there for a while.

no, i never used this screenname anywhere else. back then i still was an active believing witness. i don't remember too many "apostates" on the chat, there were some "suspects" though, like "jubilee". everytime she entered the chat, everyone screamed "APOSTATE!!!".. lol
there were a few cool JW guys and gals on there too who didn't take it all too serious and were sometimes labeled apostate too. -

For all husbands with believing wives......
by jeeprube inithinkisee's thread and the responses got me to thinking.
i'm in a situation similar to his, and it sounds like a lot of other husbands here are also, or have been.
so lets sound off.

hi jeeprube,
yes, there are plenty on here who are exactly in the same situation. look at my thread: i've had a similar talk with my wife some time ago.
i know how tough it is, jeep, and i wish you'r wife will wake up someday from the WT indoctrination. never give up. -

If an individual (atheist or otherwise) hopes and believes in the ultimate success of the scientific method and trusts in it to answer his/her deepest questions, doesn't it start to take on all the symptoms of those professed by a "believer" of a "faith-group"?
that's true. every "ultimate" success/cause/whatever is somehow religious. see my thread on randomness. -

Define Success.
by LouBelle inmany people define success in many ways.
some feel that being at the top of their 'game' is success.
some feel that having a load of money in the bank is success.. what is success for you?
-
googlemagoogle
erm... you mean like in "masculine"? or in "human being"? last time i checked i would have answered both in the positive.

success is reaching your personal goals, in case you set some. the goal can also be the path though.
my goal is being a famous rockstar with loads of money, a mansion that makes hughe hefner's house look like a trailer and a whole lotta scandals.
on the other hand i got some more humanitarian goals too.
in either case, i haven't been very successful by now.
BUT I WILL!!! muhahahaha
