carol, you are being untheocratic. when was the last time you shared an upbuilding comment in the meetings? when was the last time you studied spiritual food, presented in literature by the watchtower, bible and tract society of pensylvania?

I would like to testify that I have personally witnessed the prodigal sock. After being lost unto me, it returneth, and I welcomed it back into by drawer.
i appreciate that you share your personal experience publicly, although many skeptics may dismiss it without a thought. true believers however know in their heart the ways of our LADY IPU (peace be onto HER). -

The Shrine of the IPU is the Laundry Room.
It is proved because, if you notice in your socks - you often find holes in them when you pull them out of the dryer - pierced by her horn during a visitation to your shrine - doubt it not!
Sometimes the whole wash comes out pink - a proof of Her Pinkness if there ever was one. It is said that She cavorts with one of her chosen Stallions in the midst of the spinning laundry. It is the afterglow of their lovemaking that imbues clothes with Her pinkness.
Also ye may know that ye have been especially blessed if you find that one of your socks has gone missing. Surely a sign from Her Horniness. If anyone questions why ye are missing a sock, simply reply "My Mistress had need of it." No one is certain what She does with the socks, but rejoice for ye were chosen to make this sacrifice. peace be upon her

i'd add labels to the buttons on top. they may seem pretty self explaining, but labels explain it better :-)

Nawwww - the number one reason for trouble in the world is a lack of diplomacy.
you don't believe that, do you? radicals (cults, nationalists, patriots) are pretty diplomatic. they have to be.
a word to the wise...
wisdom is relative ;-) -

AM SO GLAD I'M NOT FROM THERE
that's a difference. theres a difference to love the place you live in and prefer to live there and being PROUD of living there. there's absolutely no single reason to be PROUD of being born in some place. it's not your accomplishment.
it's actually ok to be patriotic, nationalistic, and/or have pride in your country.
is it? you know, besides lack of education and poverty, this is probably the number one reason for problems in this world.
It's really sad when people can't just have the graciousness to say, "I'm glad you are happy to be an American as I am happy to be an *insert country of origin here*"
noone complains about someone being happy about the place s/he lives in. it's just the ignorance of being PROUD about it. -

But I would never not say "I am proud to be from belgium".
That sounds like: I am proud to be white (or black) or proud to be a man (or woman). Just sounds very wrong.
that sums it up pretty well. there's a huge difference between loving a place and being happy to be there (that's got nothing to do with patriotism btw) on one hand and being PROUD of ones homecountry - it just doesn't make sense.
