  yeah, i'd do the recording if i'll ever actually get to a JC. and hitting the pub afterwards would be unavoidable anyway ;-)
  
  actually i think i'll really tell them not to come. i'll tell em that i've got a lot of things to do, so it wont fit my schedule.

  Should dubs sun-bathe?

  so smoking cigs is a drug, yea like caffine (saw this posted somewhere recently), so then they say, its a defilement, and cause cancer etc.

  by this method of thinking, is it also wrong to deliberatly sun-bathe, knowing full well its dangerous (especially here in australia, lots of skin cancers from it) and possibly not showing respect for "the sanctity of life"?.

  someone asked me this while i was still a dub, i think it helped put a dent in the old "faith" bridge.

  after over a year of silence (except the 'inactive' stuff) i got a call if they could come and talk with me next week. the elder on the phone always was a good friend of mine, however, lately - and especially after i gave him a several pages long document i wrote about what's wrong with the WTS and the bible - we have cooled down. so i agreed and was stupid enough to agree that another elder can come too.
  
  i've thought about telling him before hand that my answers will be different when there's more than one person visiting. but i don't know if this is a good idea.
  
  what i'll probably do is simply lie. if they talk about how i feel bout this and that, i'll probably simply go the witnoid line. if i talk at all that is.
  
  maybe i also simply tell them, if it's getting too personal, that i only talk about these things under four eyes. the funny thing about this would be that one of them would get pretty pissed, because if they want me to talk at all, he'd had to leave again...
  
  one thing i'll surely do is drinking a beer before they come...

  im trying to learn stairway to heaven but its too hard, what should i do?

  basically you use your index finger to press all strings (at least from D to E) on the 5th fret. don't ever remove it from there until later on.
  
  for the initial 7-5-5-5 simply use your ringfinger to hold the 7th fret on the D string. play it.
  
  for the 6/7-5-5-7 you keep your index finger pressing the 5s. move your ringfinger from the D string to the E string, still on the 7th fret. use your middle finger to hold the 6th fret on the D string. play it.
  
  now, while still holding the 5th fret with your index finger, press the 8th fret on the E string with your little finger.
  
  after that, move your whole hand down to the second fret, try to figure out the rest, you get the picture.

  it's not hard, but i guess you should first look into chords. it's all chords...

  i just got home from a dub "party".

  it was very tame, seemed to be choreographed, and i was just shocked.. for one thing, everyone there was my age or older.

  these people are young adults.. yet, it felt like the jr. high dance.

  depends where... here we always had those really cool parties going on. but then again, our gang was pretty unique. and there was gossip everywhere about it.
  
  a few of my friends where addicted to cigarrettes by that time. some where smoking weed. some did more than kissing to their girl-friends... pretty cool time. i found out about the weed too late, so i had to try it recently.

  What is it with Stairway to Heaven and guitar shops?
  
  because every ongoing guitar hero who (just like tsunami will soon) figured out how to play stairway to heaven, will play it to "test the guitars" in the shop and impress his mates... "wow! he can play like jimmy page!" you know.
  
  each and every guitar-shop employee and frequent customer is so sick of that song, you can't imagine.

  it's surprising how much competence and knowledge a fellow brother needs to have on a topic to have a public talk about it on stage... .

  sunday morning, i pop in right after the song (i always do... i HATE singing klingon melodies). the talk already started. i sit down and listen, something bout evolution... then my stomache starts to hurt because of the truths being told.
  
  he that hath an ear, let him hear the logic of the true believer:
  
  - instead of believing what scientists say, shouldn't we better trust in a book we know to be true?
  - the bible was written BEFORE that erm... funny.. erm... evolution story came up, so we got reason to believe what the bible says.
  - evolutionists take chance and mix it with time, long time, and even longer time. they explain away anything with long time periods.
  - believing in the bible is better, because evolution does not provide any hope for the future! (that's my fav, that's like "gravity does not provide any hope for the future")
  - the brain is so complex that it must be for eternal life (why the heck do i still forget things then)
  - if evolution was right, we wouldn't need such a complex brain
  - even the "encyclopaedia britannica" which we got many quotes from mentions that humans and primates are one kind. but the bible states that god made every animal after it's kind, and humans are one kind. so logically evolution can't be true.
  
  there were many more holy words of truth that very hour. but they were far above my level of understanding, so i won't even try to utter them.
