  i dont know if someone has started a thread about this yet but screw it, if so here's another one.

  my cousin, brooke's husband, just called me and told me that brooke is not doing good, she has to have another surgery on her leg next week and she's in a lot of pain and i know once she is feeling better she will appreciate reading everyones thoughts and well wishes so lets give them to her!!!

  i stopped reading the bible and instead took up reading the gnostic gospels, the koran and other eastern religious books. believe it or not but the bible does not have a monopoly on god.

  the guidelines for being reinstated?

  the reason i ask is because as it is now the cong.

  wants a dfd person to go to meeting for at least 6 months, write letters requesting reinstatment and meeting w/ the elders to show that you are repentant.

  Thanks everyone. Now I'll spend my weekends at Lowes and HomeDepot instead of recovering from a hangover, I mean going in service. Hey WH....i'm still in the triangle. I bought a hous ein Raleigh near the intersection of Leesville Rd. and Lynn Rd. It's close to the Raleigh Grand Theater.

It's funny b/c my parents seemed to have turned 130 degrees (not quit a 180) and they have been very supportive of me buying a home. My dad even told me that he was very proud of me! Anyway I just wanted to share the good news.

  DELAYS IN N.O. part of Governmental Disaster Policy?

  saw a programme dealing with the possible aftermath of a huge earthquake in l.a.. disturbingly it said that in such an event widespread civil disorder, panic and chaos would render efforts at aid virtually impossible.

  the policy is to seal off whole areas and allow the violence and looting to play itself out.

  after a week or more those trapped will be exhausted weak hungry and easier to control.

  help! what does a jw say to the elders about DOUBTS?

  my friend has been struggling in the 'truth' for a while, she was never really a model jw and since ive been dfed and her little sister was abused shes wanted to leave but cant seem to find the way to do it.

  so she rung me today and told me she is meeting with the elders (two i think) as she has told them she has questions and wants answers.. i think her overall hope is that they dont answer her questions and she finds the strength to leave!

  (she says sometimes shed like them to df her but i think thats just coz she wants to go so much!.
