  NICE! Yeah I think she's just being cautious. She has expressed that she cares for me dearly and sometimes says "i 'heart' you" which is pretty cute.

  thanks guys!! yeah my gut says to stick with it. it's a great relationship!! we are very open and honest about everything. i know that she has been burned pretty bad in the past and that she has already put down her walls with me, more then any other guy that she has dated in the past four years. she is a single mother so she is extra cautious. she keeps asking me if i know what i'm getting into. i'll let you all know how it goes.

  but she didn't reciprocate. she held me tight and kissed me softly. her body language says that she loves me and she's told me she cares for me very much, but she didn't say those magic words. now i feel dumb and vulnerable. we have been dating for almost 5 months now and have spent a lot of time together for the last month. we are going white water rafting and camping this weekend on a 3 day vacation. what does this mean? should i wait and see if she comes around or just cut my losses now before i become more attached? it's been a long time since i've told some one i was dating that I loved her. I forget how this works.

  wow...what a random question. i have no clue what the JW view of this is, but i can speculate. assuming that adam and eve actually existed, i would say that no, they didn't since neither of them were born through a normal nine month term pregnancy which would require an umbilical cord.

  i believe in god, but i also realize he may not exist.. if you don't believe in god, i really don't care, i'm just curious.. i don't have this need to start threads like "why you must believe in god", or other such nonsense, but some of you still have this "control" issue that you thought you left in the org.

  i've pretty much accepted that i'm agnostic. i mean all the scientific evidence supports the atheist view, but for some reason however illogical it is, i feel the need to believe that there is a higher power.

  I received a package from my mother today

  my dub mother sent me a package today, inside was a nwt bible, a picture of me around age 5 at an assembly - i looked miserable and my dad was holding a battery operated fan in front of me, and a letter, here is the letter.

  i ask that you remember that i was 18 when i left and i'm now 42, that there is a total of 8 children in my family and there are only 2 that are still jw's, oh and that my mother is a complete nutcase!
