April Fools joke on JW wife that will land you in hot water
by catchthis ini was sitting here at work thinking what could i do to my other half this morning.
my brainstorming concluded that i should repent of my sins and make a request to get reinstated.
instead of calling her at home, i figured she was probably in front of her computer doing bills and such so i shot off an email.

My JW "ex" girlfriend is going crazy (if anyone remembers me)...
by starcrossedpimp ini wrote a while ago about the relationship i was in with a witness.
it's still posted under this category i believe.
anyway, it was her decision to go along with her parents and stop talking to me.

Are the Society planning a 'Pledge of Allegiance'? IT MAY BE TRUE!
by nicolaou ini've just learned from a trusted contact at thewatchtower.org 'norris', that the society intend to put a resolution to the congregations shortly - though definately not at the 'special talk' meeting next month.. here's the scary bit.
this resolution needs to be responded to by all baptized jehovah's witnesses.
we have not been able to get hold of the wording but have been informed it is intended to provide the brotherhood with the opportunity to affirm their loyalty to jehovah and his organization.

i wonder if this resolution will say something like "we pledge to do god's will and remain loyal to his organization on earth" or somehting more to the effect of "we pledge loyalty to the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society, god' representative on earth". unless the pledge actually states "to the watchtower bible and tract society" i don't see it being a big deal. it's basically just renewing the baptismal vows.

yes i had that for a while after i knew the truth about the truth. it's hard to let go of something that you have come to believe is the only truth on earth and god's only for of cummunication to mankind. however the more research you do the less you feel like the "might be right". however even if they are right about the core teachings and they are god's channel, i believe that God is loving and merciful and can understand why any of us would not believe the WTS. i'm not worried about my fate as long as i love god and love my fellow neighbor, upon those two principles the whole law hangs.
