hey check it out.

i really dont know if i shold be sharing my feelings with strangers but at this point i really dont know where to turn.

i've been dating this lady for over a year now.

your girlfriend will not get disfellowshipped unless she admits to the elders that she has committed fornication or some other gross sin. just dating you, as long as you haven't fooled around, isn't enough to get her DF'd. the fact that she is dating you tells me that she isn't really a strong witness anyway. the best chance you have for the lasting happiness of both of you is to get her OUT. however it is possible to be married, you would be considered an unbelieving mate, while she is JW and you are not, but she might experience some negative energy from the congregation without anything official being announced.

But I am a good person. Ive been blessed. Im a (conscientious) law student, former teacher, I volunteer with the homeless and juveniles...Im empathetic, hard working and God-fearing.... I dont mean sound like Im tooting my own horn because God is responsible for my growth but I hate the idea that Im may not good enough for him to date.

Anyway those skilled appostates that will look at my words and twist them and try and make what I say suit them - don't bother, I only came on here to have a rant at you for once, and i won't be reading your replies, your opinions are hilarious and only effect the weak, no doubt you'll have a good go though, it would be very very funny, it hard to resist staying around for the argument but i won't. Oh wow really! I'm curious as to the reason why your interested in getting another wife. Is it because of sex,companionship,or raising children?? I would let my husband have another wife too,IF we could find another wife that we both agree on.We've also had many discussions on this issue recently. It's hard enough finding ONE good mate let alone two! I (and hubby) would like to do it for family reasons.We've had 5 childern and life can get a bit crazy at times and it would be really nice to have another person around to help out.And I also would like to have a friend around that would be more like a family member.Especially since ALL my family and JW friends have told me they will have nothing to do with me unless I go back to the meetings(their all a bunch of brats!).But anyway,the sex part I know my hubby would LOVE,LOL! But that wouldn't be our main reason for doing something like that. I'd definatly be willing to share my husband if I could get some help with raising the kids/household duties and getting a break here and there to be free to go do a few fun things too, instead of being the one that always stays to care for the kids.And if we had another "wife" to help out I could continue to have childern and it would be far easier.And she could have a few too,if she wanted.
Does this other wife you have picked out know about what your thinking,how did you ask? What did she think of it?

HOLY SHIT! I can't imagine taking care of 2 chicks and a bunch of brats. Your husband must make BANK! On the flip side...consistent threesomes WOULD ROCK!!

if i had to do it all over again i would have just faded away and if they threatened to DF me b/c i wasn't going to meetings anymore or they hear something about my lifestyle i would have written them a letter threatening to sue them for defamation of character.

hey megadude...i think what richie wants to do is nullify his baptism, not DA himself. it's pretty much the same thing but a slight technicality that might prevent any shunning policy to take effect.
