Badger goes over the deep end....
by Elsewhere inok, ok... it wasn't really our badger... but it could have been... a soccer referee just shot an opposing team's coach.... http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2004/soccer/07/25/bc.crime.southafrica.soccer/index.html?cnn=yesthe ultimate penaltycoach questions call, shot to death on field by refereeposted: sunday july 25, 2004 2:15pm; updated: sunday july 25, 2004 2:27pm.
johannesburg (reuters) -- a south african soccer referee pulled a gun and shot dead a coach who questioned one of his rulings, police said on sunday.. inspector mali govender of the grahamstown police in the eastern cape province said a fight broke out after the referee gave a yellow warning card to a player in a local match on saturday.. "there was an altercation...and the referee became threatened when the other team approached him because they were angry," govender said.
"so he pulled out a gun and killed the coach of the visiting team.".

We just watched "How to Lose A Guy in 10 Days"
by cruzanheart inthat was one of those movies i was kind of curious about but didn't feel compelled to actually pay money to see, at least not over and above what we pay for direct tv each month.
so we watched it.
and i have a question for members of both sexes: would you be able to trust a partner who starts the relationship with a lie?.

There are two guys at my local Subway up the street that are obessed with Army of Darkness....and my younger brothers are obessed with Bruce Campbell
Its because of Ash's (bruce campbell) dry cool wit and 'don't take no shit' attitude that make him the ultimate hero, thus making him a role model for the male species everywhere.
TDW's useless fact: Bruce Campbell had a small part in both spiderman movies; In the first one as the ring announcer and the doorman at the playhouse in the second.

Just out of curiousity...
by thedarknesswithin inis this forum official?
i found it in a search result, but there appears to be in no way connected to watchtower.org.
so i was just wondering if this was the real deal or just a jw forum doing it own thing?

Stick around, you would enjoy surfing the board a bit. I have been out for many years myself, it's a good group of folk here.
Heh, being the forum bum that i am ill probably hang round for a bit.
Thanks anyway though, but as I said before i was just a bored soul with an internet connection and an interest in religion and philosophy.
Hmm, what will you do when you get bored with those? At first I was going to include the statement about Buddhism and Wicca in the quote, but I think this is more direct.
After buddhism and Wiccanism? Probably porn, either that or log off, go outside, drink my favourite depressants, go whereever the night may lead me. I have no interest in becoming a buddhist or a pagan, just interested in them. To quote many, many householders: "IM NOT INTERESTED!!! *SLAMS DOOR*

Don't think this is going to keep you here but, I'm still a JW. Can teach you some things about JW's if ya want.
Heh, i was a JW since i was 6 til I turned 18. Thanks anyway though, but as I said before i was just a bored soul with an internet connection and an interest in religion and philosophy. While I was here last night I was also looking up Buddhism and Wiccanism.
or maybe just what you are looking for but dont even know it.
lol, I like the way you think.

Ah so this place is for ex-JW's and those fading.
Nevermind. Not what I was looking for, methinks.

I was, but not anymore. Today I'm merely a bored soul with an internet connection and an interest in religion and philosophy.
It just struck me as curious that a forum like this existed, when we were always told not to go to any other website other than watchtower.org (in regard to JW related info), because of the unknown of who was running it, and what they were saying on it, so as not to be stumbled by false information.
By recovering JW do you mean someone that has been disfellowshipped or left but has returned and wants to be reinstated?
