The younger, fitter, healthier you are the less susceptible to Covid's lethality

as the comparison of INFECTED to actual DEAD becomes clear.

As we learned from being Jehovah's Witnesses - almost ANYTHING can be twisted by a single word, a comma, an omission depending on who is MANIPULATING the target audience.
Remember this: 1."Truly (comma) I tell you today you will be with me in Paradise.
2."Truly I tell you today (comma) you will be with me in Paradise."
Clever change of context affecting the exact intention of the statement by use of punctuation (which did not exist at that time.)
"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was (?)"

Yes, THAT one!
We have two political parties trying to create chaos by weaponizing culpability for Covid death. Is it the fault of the Chinese or is it the lackadaisical response?
Are masks vital protection - or - do they cause more harm than good? (Both are statements directly attributable to Expert authorities.)
Are respirators vital life-saving equipment - or - has it turned out they almost always guarantee patient death?

Up is Down, Black is White (only Black matters), and Truth is what X says it is.

Note: In July of 2013 President Obama invited RBG to a private dinner to explain how important it was for her to retire so that he could have the opportunity of replacing her before Democrats lost control of the Senate.

Ruth Bader Ginsberg refused.

And That -as they say - is THAT!

Democratic leaders had precious few cards they could have played as they contemplated their options with Justice Ginsburg. She made it clear in several interviews that she had no intention to retire; widowed in 2010, she was devoted to her work, determined to have a voice and appreciated the platform her celebrity offered her as an icon liberals liked to call the “Notorious R.B.G.”

She was clearly annoyed at any public suggestions that she step down. In 2014, Erwin Chemerinsky, dean of the law school at the University of California at Berkeley, wrote articles, appearing in The Los Angeles Times and Politico, declaring that for the long-term good of progressive values, Justice Ginsburg should step aside to make way for a younger Obama appointee.

“It was certainly conveyed to me that she was not pleased with those who were suggesting that she retire,” Mr. Chemerinsky said.

But Terry the contagious effects of the virus that killed many people rapidly in countries like Italy and China to name few, were those deaths just a statistical lie ?

The situation in the U.S.A. is ALL persons with Covid who die - are said to have died FROM Covid.

Whether or not the absence of any pre-existing condition would allow the patient to otherwise recover from Covid is an interesting (and unprovable) question.

AS FAR AS STATISTICS: Covid Deaths (which may only have been a "straw breaking the camel's back) are stretched into a fog of unknown unknowables.

Remember Agatha Christie's MURDER on the ORIENT EXPRESS?
Who was the murderer?
The twist is this: Everybody stabbed the victim.
Yes, yes - but really now - at some point the victim died.
If the last person in line (for murder) used Covid-19 as the murder weapon instead of a knife - well, an American hospital would cite the cause of death as the VIRUS (for financial reasons).
Yes, I'm exaggerating to make a point.

Is this statistical lying? Yes and No and - does it matter?
Like so many things: it depends on why the statistic is being used to prove a point.

No easy answers here. I wrote the above essay because I didn't want to be totally ignorant and simply having to rely on (Pick a favorite Expert) to persuade me to Do or Not Do this or that.

The most publicly ruthless political figure in my lifetime was MALCOM X who made clear his margin
of tolerance in addressing progress toward an end goal. "By any means necessary."
Shotgun blasts against him demonstrated he'd made his point.
He'd seen through to the lie about the leader of the American Black Muslims: young naive women/girls.

I've known just a few alcoholics in my lifetime. My Father was one, for instance. My Dad assured me this is not true.

He said: "People become who they really are when inhibitions are down - and alcohol pulls back that curtain."

Why am I talking about Alcoholism and bad behavior??

Politics and alcohol both pull back the curtain of inhibitions - the same curtain on human character and behavior.

People BECOME who they really are when frustrated politically

and - believe me - it ain't pretty!

We are about to witness just what sort of people we are and to what ends we'll go to have our way. NOTE: When I say, "Our way" I adamantly refuse to include myself!

I loathe politics. True Believers scare the shit out of me!

I had a terrifying 20 years as another kind of True Believer (religious fanatic JW) and I'd have done anything / risked everything for that crazy belief.

Politics is just another False Religion in my opinion.

One citizen's "god" vs the other citizen's "god."

NO ROOM FOR COMPROMISE exists in these matters.

We are on the cusp of an extravagant madness about to erupt where the amount of lies, threats, fear-mongering, and outright belligerence will turn your blood cold.

WHY?

True Believers are monsters disguised as Saviors of Civilization.

No matter how silly you are ... you have to be pretty gullible to entertain that scenario!

Just because somebody is irrational, obstinate, and intransigent doesn't mean 4 armed men can't remove them from a premises.

Spend just a brief moment analyzing this and you'll have to agree.

As Fred Kaplan says in Slate Magazine:

"The morning of Jan. 20, 2021. Trump doesn’t meet President-elect Joe Biden and his wife in the White House driveway, nor does he attend the inauguration on Capitol Hill. Overseas, foreign leaders will cut off relations with the U.S. ambassadors in their capitals and await instructions from Biden or his acting secretary of state.

Meanwhile, Biden’s acting attorney general will have drawn up arrest warrants for Donald J. Trump and anyone who remains at his side on charges—at minimum—of criminal trespassing. If Trump calls on the armed forces or militias or the nation’s sheriffs to come defend him, he might also be charged with incitement or insurrection.

If any of Trump’s aides or Cabinet officers continue to take his orders, they too could face criminal charges and, in any case, would have a hard time finding respectable employment after the pretend monarch is taken away in handcuffs.

If armed militiamen and sheriffs rally to the White House and they refuse to let U.S. marshals through the gates, a small contingent of Secret Service or the National Guard could be called up to enforce the law. If that doesn’t work, a few M1 tanks rolling down Pennsylvania Avenue should make the would-be rebels flee. It would be terrible if the standoff came to this, but Commander in Chief Biden would have this option available, if necessary.

In other words, Trump could hole himself up in the Oval Office, but the Oval Office would very soon be cut off from all power. He would have no choice but to give up."

So KNOCK IT OFF already. Don't make a fool of yourself in public

buying into this crazy media conspiracy.

Trump says things to demonstrate the "crazy" in his opposition.

The mortality rate from ALL causes of death for the U.S. population is calculated per 100,000 individuals per year based on population size.

Example:

In 2003, the U.S. population was 290,810,000.

Total number of deaths for all reasons was 2,419,900

___________TOTAL: 832 deaths per 100,000 (0.00832)

SO?

Each year these statistics are reckoned anew and the forecast

(pre-Covid) was on track for 2020.

What was the pre-covid prediction for "normal" mortality?

As 8.3 per 1000 in the U.S. as compared

and 7.7 per 1000 worldwide.

(Crude figures for estimate are referred to as “crude death” figures.)

CAUSES of DEATH are calculated as 10 categories per 1,000 persons:

1. Heart disease 126

2. Stroke 77

3. Pulmonary disease 41

4. Lower respiratory infection 40

5. Alzheimer’s / dementia 27

6. Lung cancers 23

7. Diabete mellitus 21

8. Road injuries 19

153,424.70 deaths per day is considered Standard WORLDWIDE.

That's 106.5 deaths per minute. Pre_covid.

In the U.S. Mortality rate is : 2,813,503

Death rate: 863.8 deaths per 100,000 population

Covid has now been conjoined into that mortality figure in the U.S. .

Scare headlines are framing Covid figures by using terrifying

language designed to create panic because we are not AWARE of what a NORMAL death toll is supposed to look like. Is this kind of reporting Helping anybody at all? Or is it designed to addict us to doom surfing for more and more "information" and clicking on ADS and racking up revenue for Media??
