well i live in the houston area of texas. im 17 and raised in the truth, my dad is a MS in the congregation, and i run the literature room. of course im baptized(since 12). is it just me, cuz i really dont have a personal relationship with jehovah. i have not prayed for years except along with the congregation. i really dont do any personal study, i just randomly mark my book so it looks like i studied. all of my friends are elder's kids, and i grew up with them.
at school i am like so isolated but i have made a few good friends that i keep in touch with(is it forbidden to have friends that arent JWs). and a lot of girls have become attracted to me from school, ive had a lot ask me out on dates, sadly i had to turn them away. this coming year is my senor year, i really want to come out and be different, as in be the way im going to be when i stop being a JW.
ive never had a girlfriend because of the belief that you shouldnt date until you are getting ready to get married. tho recently i did try to woo this one girl, but she is like wierd. she told her mom i was trying to date her, so like her mom told my parents this. and now they are trying to get a group dinner thing going on. even to make matters more confusing. my mom told me to lay off her, she doesnt like me anyway. but then they are gonna do this dinner thing... wtf?
truly i want out of this religion, thats where i stand.

this religion does sound wrong with all the mistakes they make, and they cover it up by saying its new light from jehovah. if im falling out, i would like to save others from this too, like my parents, my friends(but if you look at it from jw view point, im just stumbling others). lol to think i save people the oposite way around.

whats the best evidence youve found to make someone fall out of the truth? its kind of a hard decision for me to drop out right now because i was raised in it. plus i have some friends at my congregation that i grew up with. they say to beware of apostates, but i like to get everyones view on life so i looked at some apostate material.
and i have to say this site is kind of misleading because curious jw will type www.jehovah-witness.com and bam apostate site!

my views to my parents, results

and then they said if they are true, this religion is the most pure anyway.
i feel bad for my dad mostly, he was a soldier stationed in korea and met my mom there who begin to study and turned out to be a totaly different woman he met(she use to like to party drink, was pretty cool, after study she turned up tight and was always in his face).

i feel bad for my dad mostly, he was a soldier stationed in korea and met my mom there who begin to study and turned out to be a totaly different woman he met(she use to like to party drink, was pretty cool, after study she turned up tight and was always in his face). they moved back to the states with me and fought a lot. the korean sisters here along with my mom were crazy toward my dad, they got him in trouble a lot by doing stuff at the base. it took him about 10 years to finally learn the troof. even i was kinda strong in the troof back then, but now i realize i dont really have any personal relationship with jehovah and most of the meetings are a borefest, and i only go to the dc and assemblies to check out chicks.

my mom really chewed me out, she told me not to go up to girls to let them have any hint that i like them. that jehovah's organization will provide one for you. a girl making the step to walk up to a guy? right... how would i get away with dating this chick in school ive known for 4 years? ive turned her down once when she asked me out...

as i long as i live under my parents roof, i must worship the same religion. im going to a good college for sure, im top 5% of my class. i want to move north out of texas, the weather is crap here.

looks like im here to stay.
i've been baptized 5 years now, i have the privledge of running the literature room, doing stage, mics, and the box(which are great for getting through meetings imo). i pioneered one summer after i got baptized with this old geezer(boring summer yea). i've had doubts, i've confronted my parents with topics such as the bible stating nails plural in one scripture talking about jesus being on the stake, and the issue with jerusalem being destroyed in 607 bce when its really 587 bce that deciding when the last days started. they made me call up an old geezer who has extensive bible knowledge, regarding the nails thing i think he said its an interpetation, and the last days thing, to rely on bible prophecy.
oh yea i hate it when they name normal people "worldy". the kids at my school are normal human beings some of em better than the ones at my congregation. i really want out but i dont think ill have the guts to. im pretty smart so ill prolly just go to college getting a great job so i can be super materialistic and stumble others, and go to the kingdom hall just like a church no service or nothing(cant you make up your time, ive always wondered that). hoping to marry a not so devout girl, i dont want to deal with all that pioneer rely on me crap(have any of you known a jw chick that wears a thong?) and live the end of my life to a peaceful death.
and this summer is really lame for me, as most of my friends are working at the new kingdom hall site every weekend. im not goin to that lol ive already got a hard labor job(freaking waiter). but i have been hangin out with this one dude who seems pretty cool, he cusses, and talks about stuff that other jw teens in the other congregations like have sex and stuff.
lame. i feel bad. my friends warned me about this girl. i thought the girl i met was nice. ive also tried getting another girl at my congregation but she liked someone but now she like all over me but i dont like her anymore lol.
