Are you black or white ? ( just asking)
by vitty inplease dont take offence but ive just realised something maybe its been touched on before,.but when i was reading the thread on bil cosby i read the one off obviously secret.
now as i am a white person i assumed he was white until he stated he was black.
so when i thought about it, i imagine everyone on this site is white, does everyone who is black imagine everyone else is black, and anyone oriental imagine everyone else is oriental.

I take Paxil extended release, 25mg, at night before I go to bed. I try not to skip a day, if I do, I feel weird. My mood dips really low.

Quit my job and go to podiatry school. The tution alone is $10,000 a semester. I'd ask my husband to leave the military--and he would with no problem! Also, I'd hire a personal trainer and chef and trim down my waistline. Oh yeah... help family and friends.

by Pinned Blouse infor those that no longer go to the kh --i was curious as to what you have done with your field service bookbag?.
for a long time i could not look at it without feeling guilty, then a couple of times i looked at with contempt.... after awhile it mysteriously ended up in the dumpster including... the books, tracts, wt's, awakes, and return visits slips that was in it.. where is your bookbag right now?.

I threw mine away along with all of my books and literature in a trashcan at a gas station. I was so worried that something bad was going to happen to me since I took that step. Isn't that silly?

How many of you gave up a college scholarship?
by codeblue inhow many of you gave up a college scholarship to appear "spiritual"?
jt's thread about "homegrown lawyers" and the wtbs willingly sending certain ones to college started me thinking about that question.
i know i for one, relinquished that scholarship to show how "spiritual" i was at 18. .

I had the opportunity to go to college on a scholarship and I'm glad I took it! I even went away to school, lived on campus and went to a 4-year university. My home congregation made arrangements with the congregation near my school. I had the friends come by and pick me up at my dorm for meetings and field service. I did it the first two years of college until I got my own car. Personally, I think that education is invaluable and should be accessible to all. I didn't attempt to be "spirtitual". I wanted to be "realistic" about how I'd support myself and make a living.

Hi everyone. I'm new and this is my first post. When I was in the truth, I remember how we were encouraged to cultivate a personal relationship with Jehovah. We were to think of him as our friend and to rely on him soley. I must admit, I just wasn't able to do that for some reason, and I still can't. Were any of you able to? Do you feel that way now? I don't even pray anymore. No prayers at night before going to bed and no blessings before meals. They seem like empty rituals to me. Do any of you feel the same?
