Thankfully the last 2 years have been the best by far, since we've both been borg-free. I will post pics later of us then and now.

Any suggestions, I want something sport/luxury probably in the 1997-99 range (already taken the major $$ depreciation). I want to spend about $10-12k. So far I keep coming back to the Lexus ES300. Anyone have one of these, or any other ideas??
in the 70s the wt published that certain practices between marriage partners such as oral sex were wrong and could result in disfellowshipping.
we all remember the havoc it wreaked on marriages especially where a non jw mate was involved.
they later backed away from this position.
I think they just want everyone to use their head on this matter, and not let their morals go down.
i received this e-mail from my sister (known here as 'nikita') on february 12th:
hi guys, just to fyi we had a fire that started in our dryer on tuesday night-fortunately, i was home (with ann's baby) and caught it at the early stages and was able to call the fire dept (another fortunate thing was our firemen just happened to be having a meeting and responded before the whistle sounded from the 911 center.
) but, even so, by the time they got here it was only minutes away from blowing as at the top of our basement stairs the temp.
Jeez Nikita, what an ordeal. It's the demins, they are angry that you left their favorite cult.
Hope things can get back to normal for you quickly, so glad no one was seriously injured!
.
oh, how many times have we heard the loud hard spankings of toddlers' and preschool aged children by their parents for making noise at the meetings echo from inside of the kingdom hall restrooms?
until now it was a memory i had forgotten, but it really bugs me now.. hunyadi
My parents would have been jailed in Canada. Congratulations to Canada for actually writing sensible laws that benefit people!!!!
while i was away on a recent road trip i had the opportunity to nip into a cinema to kill a couple of hours.
having see everything i wanted to see, during the week, i decided to watch the only thing that was starting at that time "lost in translation".
i didn't know anything about it, other than that it was going to help me bide my time, away from home.. i groaned inwardly, when i saw bill murray hit the screen, as i'm not especially a fan.. however, i was deeply moved by what was portrayed, along with the japanese neo-cultural explosion that was evidenced.. i hope this doesn't mean i'm reaching a mid-life crisis, however i found it profoundly disturbing.. http://www.bestofneworleans.com/dispatch/2003-09-30/film_review2.html.
DIM - don't worry, everything's cool! HAHA!!
previous: my life ... and how jwd came to be - part 1. .
how many times have people said ?if i knew then what i know now??
what a difference that would have made to my life.
Simon - I too started really waking up after I had my own child. Your writing is excellent , thanks for sharing it. Thanks for this forum too!

LittleToe-
I just watched it also. Great film...I totally agree with you. I found I could identify with the Bill Murray character somewhat in a few areas. There was a lot of subtle humor too - like the wife who you only ever heard on the phone, and the ongoing conversation about the carpet samples. Our lives become routine pretty fast after we have children.
i couldn't believe this list of cannots that jws have to adhere to!
i already knew about the holidays, blood tranfusions, the pledge, etc.
there's maybe one or two that i would agree are for your own good, but the rest are ridiculous!!
you forgot the number one thing: MASTURBATE !!!
