1975 Reaction
by MadApostate inthis past weekend, one of the few remaining jw relatives who will still discuss jw stuff with me told me about his recently attending a home bible study being conducted by an elder.
evidently, the study had been told or had picked up some info about the 1975 fiasco.
the elder totally denied that the society had stated or even led people to believe that armageddon would occur in 1975, and he naturally blamed some individual jws for misinterpreting the society's materials.

I was born in the spring of 75'. I've asked my mother about what happened leading up to 75', and she holds up the line that the Watchtower had nothing to do with it. It was just isolated cases of a few over zealous bothers.
I've went back and read the all I could about the subject, she is dead wrong. She is a perfect example of Watchtower mind control.

Ritzville-Day One
by silentlambs inthe following is my recollection of the events surrounding the trial of manuel beliz who was charged with molesting erica garza rodriguez when she was a child.. i arrived in seattle wa on sunday the twelfth of august around 8 pm.
the night air was cool compared to kentucky it was a nice change.
a local family volunteered to use of their car as money was tight and it would save on a rental car fee.

When is THE Dateline due to air?

I understand your lack of enthusiasm. I simply stated my opinion and my opinion still stands. Did I say that the Watchtower would be finished? No I didn't, I said they would spend a couple of weeks in I.C.U.
The Watchtower has pounded the religions of the world for covering child molesters. Now it's the towers turn.
I can imagine having to go out in service after the dateline show.

I've heard sometime this fall. Beyond that,I would be guessing. I believe that Dateline will do more than just bloody the Watchtower nose, I think they will spend a few weeks in I.C.U.

My opinion is that dubs don't like dateline cameras. I think word got around about the media coverage, and the any dub that thought about coming must have got cold feet or might have been instructed not to go. Again this is just my opinion.
What sort of looks were coming from the Dub encampment?
