  I am with cab1000 - Seeing the Bears and Colts in the Super Bowl would be AWESOME!

  Seeing Urlacher pound on Payton Manning would be euphoric...lol.(Sorry AK-Jeff) Since we all know how well the Bears play with the Patriots. I swear to god, I want to smack Brady a new one. Ultimately, who ever gets in the Super Bowl, I hope to god Patriots will not be there. If they make it(which they probably will) I want to see Brady on the ground as much as possible.

  Yeah, I am still pissed about the Chargers blowing the game. Come on there was like 3 major plays they totally screwed up.

  I love Triple Espresso's(nothing added) - I can suck those things down like there is no tomorrow.

  I love my Carmel Macchiato - sometimes with a extra shot of Vanilla and extra shot of Espresso(when I want something really sweet)

  Cinnamon Dolce Latte - so yummy!

  Espresso con Panna.

  WHO'S 40 OR NEARLY 40!!!!!

  hi everybody and happy new year.

  2007 is the year i turn 40, in fact in exactly one month's time to be precise.. i've noted that a lot of people on jwd are a similar age to me.

  i think it's because it takes us this long to pluck up the courage to finally leave the borg.. i need to know how turning 40 makes you feel.

  LOL - This B-day party will be so much fun, since I am soooooo much younger than you...lol. I'll be 40 in 13 years 6 months....lol.

  How Dysfunctional A Witness Were You?

  reading posters' comments help me to see that since leaving "the organization", many have gotten emotionally better.

  of course, you don't have to be a witness to have dysfunction but feeling the pressure of always being told that we are inferior, that we're not doing enough, can get to the best of us!

  looking back, how dysfunctional were you??

  Disciplining babies?

  i'd appreciate advice.. i remember when i was pregnant the following exp was given at a district convention.

  an elder said that he started discipling his child from 9 months.

  he said whenever the 9 month old made a noise or cried at the meeting he would squeeze her.

  I have a hard time disciplining my own children. I use time outs, corner etc....

  They have their whole lives to sit still and keep quiet. Not that I raise running screaming bratty children. I get many compliments on my view of raising children. Example: Child acting up in a restaurant? Take him or her into the bathroom, tell them to get all their ticks and naughtiness out in here and not out there. My daughter laughs as I throw the fit with her.....lol

  I remember one JW sister in the bathroom beating her little girl(same age as my daughter). I was rocking my son in the bathroom at the time. Since he was sleeping, I quietly put him down, and interrupted the abuse. As I grabbed her hand, I told her "If I ever catch you beating your child for not sitting still, I will beat you myself, on the stage, in front of everyone." To this day when she sees me in a store she runs away quickly.

  If I catch anyone harming a child, I don't turn the other way or hope that someone does something. I walk right up to the parents and let them have it.

  For now I have a hard time thinking about the day I look into my baby's eye's and realize it's the last baby I'm ever going to have.

  Exactly! When I look at my son, I can't look at him as the last of my children.

  Good for you on the "No Drugs" labor - as for me I thought 50 hours straight was good enough for me. 10 hours later(with drugs) Lily was here. What was the question again?...lol

  Really, I am not done having children. However, I am not saying, I've stopped either.

  I know what you're all saying, and all very good points. Thank you, for your experiences and thoughts.

  I am only 26 and I think I have more energy than my children(4 1/2 and 3)....lol. I can say that because I am painting my sons room and doing laundry, cleaning, and still playing with the midget spawns......

  I' ve always wanted a big family, since I did come from one.

  I don't want anymore children right now, but I am thinking of having more. I don't think it is just baby envy...lol. Although, I miss all that baby stuff.

  Waking up every hour for feeding, endless diapers etc...I miss it. Anyone have a baby I can borrow? lol.

  Maybe in a few years, I'll think about having another baby.
