is there somewhere a published list of questions (with answers) that one must answer prior to baptism?
i am sick of my wife saying that only certain people believe certain things.
though she has been raised a witness, she has never been baptised.
In the Kingdom of God section, question 6 asks How do we know we are in the endtimes,etc.. In the answer, they apparently still use the Matt 22:32-34 generation stuff as support. I thought they abandon that.
No, they didn't abandon it, just changed the meaning of it... This is the last generation ... meaning, the generation of annointed ones will still have a remainder on earth, when the great tribulation comes.

i'm absolutely stunned by this.. a bunch of girls - well, 30-somethings anyway - down the pub have admitted to rubbing hemorrhoid cream around their eyes so as to look younger.. apparently, the salve's shrinking properties is great to reduce eye-bags and crows feet better than anything on the market.
it's also extremely cheap compared to facial creams.. anusol rules!.

on reflection of a few of the recent threads about the past year, and the ensuing one i had pause to think about some of my priorities in life.
y'know family is always family, and that has to be the closest bond - right up there with life-partner (but you get to choose the latter .
below (and currently my avatar) is a pic of my eldest nephew, taken about a year ago.. frankly i don't know what i'd do if anything happened to him.

Yeah, I heard cigars were the worst for tongue and throat cancer. I never really liked those cigars anyway .. cigarettes were my delight.
Anyway, I gotta admit that I already begin to feel the effects of quitting ... My lungs definatly appreciate my sacrifice.
