Sad News...
by Sentinel inmy mom had her valve replacement and triple by-pass surgery today.
the operation lasted five hours, and they had just gotten her to her room at 8:00pm when she went into cardiac arrest.
the doctor tried everything, even opening up her chest and massaging her heart.

You should write something if it makes you feel better Karen, and even if the elder decides to not read your words out aloud, you will still have written them and hopefully gave you some peace.

The meetings are getting oh so painful!
by TweetieBird inlast night's meeting was sooooo boring, i was in pain.
i have been a witness my whole life and it's the same ole thing, meeting after meeting.. listen up, governing body...if you want to keep the rank and file from leaving (by the way, our congregation is missing half of it's publishers from the meetings on a regular basis) please change the format of the meetings.
i don't know how much more i can stand.. last sunday, we had 68 in attendance at the public talk and 3 less that i know of for the wt study (cause we left).

Wow, i have to say .... i read and commented on that ridiculous puppy/farmer thing .... after that, i told my mum about this, and as i told it, added some drama and just made into an epic tragedy i began to see how a Dub would understand this. And by gosh ..... the reply you got Sojourner, is excactly what i figured a jw would think. Guess i haven't lost it all yet
Anyway, if ya wanne answer in JW-style .... why didn't the farmer talked to the wolves first, before he killed them. He never gave them change ... wasn't there an Awake! he could have given them??

he has scheduled his several operations to be completed and he will be finished with his recovery from the operations in time to be the maid of honor at not perfect yet's upcoming wedding!
his new name will be "valisia.
