  i was reading down the list and saw badboy and was reminded of goodboy and wondered if he posts here under a different moniker?

  Praying to Jehovah.......

  .......certainly never got me anywhere, did not even help my wife to survive cancer, in spite of jesus' admonition to "ask anything in my name.

  " there are opinions among some students and researchers of the bible to the effect that the god and father jesus prayed to was not jehovah.

  just try to find "jehovah" in the sermon on the mount, even in the nwt.

  Praying never got me anywhere either. And there are different personalities of God in the bible. Karen Armstrong wrote an excellent book about this, "A history of God".

  Okay I wake up and the first thing I do is

  [C] Use the toilet; sitting

  Then I walk into the kitchen for

  [B] Make tea, any flavour will do, but herbal is a favorite and at the same time I will

  [M] Take medication for the headache I usually have

  And then, I take my tea, walk upstairs to

  [N] turn on my computer, check e-mail, surf the net, chat with friends etc. Around noon, I'll get dressed.

  Unless of course I have company, then E applies big time.

  zanexical connundrum

  i met a lady...as i have mentioned here before i am going thru a divorce and it hasnt been the nicest thing in the world...i met someone who has been very nice to me and patient with me and doesnt expect anythin out of me other than for me to be myself..she is a non-jw..we have been kind of just seein each other randomly.

  i like her...i am a bit nervous about gettin into any type of relatinship just now and she understands that and accepts that.

  i feel sooo scarred by what happened to me in that horridly destructive marriage that i dont know if i am ever going to be able to completely trust women in general but this one has been proving herself to be nothing but trustworthy and honest.

  Zanex, just go with it, and go for it. Everyone deserves someone to love, and if this lady showed up your doorstep so to speak, don't turn her down. She might turn out to be the one you.
