Let me get this straight tho..... You live in a country where dangerous creatures inhabit your garden, and you KICK something that will only attack when you ANNOY it...... OMG.
Glad you're okay.
the signs are that the drought in oz is getting really bad.
yesterday two things brought this "home" to me.
first, the fair city of melbourne has announced water restrictions.

i have been busy for the past few weeks and finally got around to reading the thread containing bill bowen's latest letter to the governing body.
apparently the gb just locked the gates and ignored them.

Can't believe I only now read this threat!...
Vivamus is an FXN (Found, X-JW, Not Sure) --Viv, correct me if I'm wrong.
Yep, you're wrong. According to your code I am a FXU. Funny, that distinction between being a R or a F. When still in dubdom, as a F one would be a bit out of the cong. A F lacked the benefit of socializing with all the fellow dubs from birth on, and therefore where a bit isolated. And a bit pitied as well, cause only god knows what privilege it is to have been raised in the troof.... As an ex-dub, you're still on a separate level as the R's, or so it seems at least. The R's have the position of having been victims without fault. The F's have the honor of having themselves to blame - for a large part at least. *I am a F, so don't flame me for saying that, all my fellow F's * Ah well, I was young and ignorant, made some mistakes, but it's never to late to rectify them. And about Bill and Ray. As ex-witnesses, most of us try to get to terms with the past. We all have our battles to fight, and we have this greater common goal. Each victory however small, is a victory none the less, and should not be compared with the accomplishments of another of our fellow fighters. Bill and Ray both, have accomplished great things, it is foolish to try and determine who is the greater, for they both have won the battle [even tho the war still is not over]. Yah us, Boo them. [stole that one from Francois] Great post Goodboy.

Now, how could you possibly consider the US of A any better than our gorgeous and beautiful Netherlands? Well??
Just kidding [well, actually I am not kidding, who would ever want to leave Holland?!?] I don't know. Good luck to you tho, but what I know of it, it is rather difficult to get a work permit, or a job at all as an European, but I could be mistaken.
yup... you got that right!

when i was a jw kid, one of the ways we amused ourselves at assemblies, conventions, and the local kh was to play "spot the celebrity".
fortunately for us, the joyful throngs of jehovah's people were brimming with celebrity look-alikes, so we were able to enjoy many upbuilding sessions of "spot the celebrity".
here are some celebrities i have spotted on jwd.
Gawd, THAT was FUNNY! Thanks for the laugh.
Kisses.
i have had a rough week.
my health is not good at this time.
this week i discovered a whole new depth of agony.
(((Robyn))). I am so sorry to hear your health is not so good.
What pleases me? *laughing softly, taking mind out of the gutter so that I can answer seriously*
1. My mum. One of the strongest persons I know. She shows a strength and love I had not thought possible, while she cares for her mum, and still puts her hand on my forehead when I feel miserable.
2. My grandma. The strongest woman I have ever met. She has a love for people that is unbelievable. Even when her body is failing her, and giving her a pain beyond belief, she still worries about others, smiles at her children and grandchildren, and gives love and support.
3. My dad. We have met only recently, and have begun to rebuild a relationship, putting all the hurt behind us and starting afresh. Looking at his face I suddenly realized that I love him.
4. That one man in LA that loves me. Separated by so many miles. Serendipity, that we should have met and have fallen in love.
5. My family. Wacky and loving, and 100% supportive, even when they think I'm crazy.
6. My friends and the laughter I have with them.
7. Painkillers, when my headaches are so bad I can't even open my eyes, these are all I want, lol.
8. Tuna Pizza, god, how I love that.
9. Going to the beach on a winters day. When the wind blows you away, and the seagulls cry. Nature is magnificent and powerful. I feel insignificant and yet powerful at the same time.
10. Pictures. Some people I have loved with all my heart have passed away. I keep them close with my pictures of them.
11. Airplanes.... almost forgot, but I really love these things, lol. [see #4]
