Am I the only one that has nightmares about how on the last day of the assembly everyone (well almost everyone) the "good" lil dubs would make the mad dash to the broom/trash bag "brothers" to help clean up on the last day. I used to hate that.

Any dealings with car dealers out there
by barry inive been in the business of buying a new car.
most dealers have been ok to deal with but one bloke acted like a right clown.
i asked him for a quote, i could tell he wasnt going to better the price i had much at all but offering me very little over the quote i already had, in fact in a very short time he had the price above the price of a compeditor and i was having to pay $600 more for the color i wanted, and to top it all off if i didnt make the deal then and there the deal whould have to be completly negotiated again.

I just purchased a 2004 Scion Xa earlier this month it was a pleasant experience. With the new Scion's whatever is on the sticker is what you pay + taxes of course. But there is no trying to get the dealer to drop the price or them trying to add more to it and then have you thinking you getting a good deal when they are really just subtracting what they already juiced the price up to.
Go Get a SCION!!! Mines is soooo cute.. and the gas milege is priceless, especially right now with gas being 2 bucks a gal.

i have one or two little spiders that i noticed living in my home... but i don't get rid of them hoping that they will keep the other bugs out.. does anyone else do this?.

I have a personal little contract with all bugs EXCEPT roaches.
Don't get on me and I'll leave you alone. So as long as they stay in their lil personal space I won't bother them. But if they get on me. SPLAT!!!!!
I guess it isn't really binding tho' because they can't sign it....
I've also had this weird phobia that if I kill a bug EXCEPT for roaches that all bugs like bees have this little bug smell they emit when squashed and then all their lil buggy family will come and attack me. I know bees only do this when the hive is attacked or something but in my mind all bugs have this so I try my best not to kill them...

by tresbella ini plan to call up the branch office and pose as an 'interested one' and ask a bunch of difficult questions i am almost positive no jw witness will be able to ansewr.
1. if the supposed "light is getting brighter" then does that not mean that it is possile that many of the teachings that the society is teaching now may be false such as blood transfusions and the 1914 teaching?
2. since any witness who speaks against the wt and refutes one of their teachings and is therefore disfellowshipped for it, what if the very teaching that they spoke against turned out to be wrong later on?

I've posted more than once that I'm currently reading CoC but the situation bubbamar was referring to really PMO. How can you let all these people be put into prison and raped, etc. in Malawi but let the Mexicans pay the bribe and go free because the GB is two-faced. Maybe the Mexicans (please take no offense) were supplying them with some Tequila for the weekly/monthly "secret" GB meetings. And then on top of that, just so they could retain property ownership they allowed the Mexican "Christian brothers and sisters" to not pray,sing, carry bibles to the meetings oops I mean "company" gatherings. But as Ray Franz said they would go through hell and high water to take everyone to court that tries to ban something in the US but says ok no more bibles, singing and what not until the government allows us to worship freely and keep our property.
Another thing is they are always talking about how they live and teach by Jesus' example. Didn't Jesus show humilty by washing his disciples feet. They refuse to show humilty by admitting they were wrong on some issues. So instead of being humble like Jesus was they practice bigotry:

by frankiespeakin ini know the wt has said why knorr and rutherford died but not russell.
this omission seems somewhat strange, being that he was so prominant his followers would naturally be curious as to the cause of death of their beloved leader.

you are never taught to discern or analyze what you read.
and when the society speaks of 'doing research is always in the bond volumes or other lit.

Actually IMHO from reading CoC(not finished yet) they probably have been realized the error of starting this doctrine but as Ray Franz noted for the sake of the numerous people that have died already because of this policy they don't see the need of stopping this practice for it will make it seem as all the ones that have died already, died for no reason. But yet you will let others continue to die to save face. How come when the borg was first started they were getting transfusions and the like but then said ok let's stop doing that. Then so many were dying (loss of income for WTS) they said ok, let them use other solutions to take the place of blood....Now they allow the use of parts of blood but call me stupid sue if its a part of blood, doesn't it come from BLOOD. Excuse my example for any that may be offended but that's like telling a muslim you can eat a pulled pork sandwich because it's such a small portion of pork, Ummmm it's still pork. My bad I forgot most JW's still deep in the borg don't think in that way. I think I read somewhere else too that a blood substitute that's now allowed comes from cow's blood. Maybe they're thinking because it from a cow its lesser than human blood.

Sooner are later they are gonna have no other choice but to admit they were wrong and start allowing blood transfusions, but maybe they're hoping those 8000 still partaking at the memorial will be gone to the "upper room" by then so they won't have to change the policy. Or they keep changing it little by little and then when they finally can't change it anymore, they will say Jehovah has given them new light on the matter and he didn't mean they couldn't have a transfusion he just meant don't eat it or drink it. Only time will tell.
