here in quebec, ordinary unleaded is 94.4 cents a litre.
(that's the cheapest gas!!!).
there are 3.78 liters per american gallon, so this would give $3.57 a us gallon..... what's the price of gas in your area?
$1.95
i thought this was "bull" from night court when i was a kid.... .
lucille ball?!
?...from "i love lucy"??!?!?.
now isnt that a freaky picture....kinda of explicit huh...and to think the GB let it pass until people started talking...hmmmmm
I'm sitting here staring at the last page of the songbook...i don't see an extra foot..sorry i don't have a scanner....
the worst one i ever had was working in a frozen chicken factory.
there were about 30 of us in a freezing cold room and my shit job was to feel the half-frozen chicken breasts up, to see if there were any little bones in them.
well after the first 5 minutes my frigging fingers were frozen stiff, so i couldn't tell if there were any bones in there or not........after 20 minutes it felt like my hands were having an out of body experience and if they weren't in front of my frozen face, i would've thought they had dropped off.
Cleaning up other peoples filthy funky houses with my JW step-mom...i hated that job with a passion...its pissing me off now just typing this and thinking about all the crap we had to do so that we could have more days off during the week to go knock on peoples doors to spread more damn poison and all i made was enough damn freaking money to buy me a burger at stupid freaking Micky D's......whew...sorry.....wooooosssaaaaaaa!!!!! sorry that was my worst job EVER!!!!

I hope I don't kill the thread but someone made the comment about the supposedly ram head in the pic....
With all the shenigans that goes on in bethel that was told on the bethel memories thread, I'm starting to believe that maybe some very intelligent artists (that had slight hangovers from all the drinking) may have hidden a few subliminal thingys.....
an elder in my parents congregation passed away last week of cancer.. i dont know if this sounds weird to anyone else, but about a month before he passed away, he went into a coma, he didnt know how long he was in it for.
but when he awoke he said to one of the c/o visiting him "jehovah was testing me, and tellin me i was going to be ok".
so once he awoken he wasnt afraid to die.. does this sound a little weird to anyone, i just feel if it had of been any wordly person saying that god was talkin to them in their coma that the jw's would say it was the demons?????.
hi sweetp, no he wasnt one of the annointed or governing body, just an ordinary elder
Sorry Es, but I was kinda being sarcastic with my question....I thought that unless you were of the anointed or on the GB (directed by Jehovah DIRECTLY) that Jehovah would talk to you....anything else was the demons...especially hearing a voice.....who did he think he was???? Moses or Abraham or something....

Someone had said it on another thread about a implosion of the borg. I really do believe that IF and thats a big IF they ever admit or weaken the stance even further on the blood issue...People that have lost loved ones due to these issues will totally lose faith unless they are so totally brainwashed that they just take the new light and not even think about their loss......I just feel a storm a' comin really soon....we're just in the quiet part now.....

dang, got all caught up and watched the whole darn ch 11 newscast.....silly me
Its so sad that this happened....All because these dumba** old geezers up there won't just admit they are wrong and let people be saved. I think something similiar to this was the turning point for my dad too. A close family friend got sick and needed an organ transplant but was too weak to transport to another hospital to get the transplant because she needed blood.....she didnt make it...i think that really took a toll on my dad....
I have posted this in other places but a example that my brother used one time really made me say hmmm and you're right....
no matter how many times you divide it, seperate it, shake it up, what have you...you're still dealing with BLOOD....just like water you can freeze it, boil it to make steam and other stuff but you're still dealing with water.....
I'm praying the other baby survives....

hmmm just wondering...was he of the anointed for Jehovah to be talking directly to him???? Or was he on the GB????
just a quick question.. does anyone know what the wts had to say about judas' presence at the last supper, before 1935?.
(documentary proof would be nice, too).
this is one of the arguments that the wts uses to support only 144,000 partakers of the "lord's evening meal".. i'm of the belief that he was at the supper, had his feet washed and enjoyed the meal, but was sent away before the "new covenant" was established (so he missed the specific partaking of the bread and wine).
Ok maybe I need to go back and reread my bible or something, but I thought all 12 of the apostles were present at the last supper...Isn't Luke an apostle??? So how wasn't he an eyewitness to the event but an apostle??? Was he left outside or something???
