it was a much shorter gap since i posted the previous installment.

as we all know jws were persecuted in malawi, beaten tortured and murdered, because they would not purchase (for about 70 cents) a card saying they support the political rule at that time.

if they did they wd be df .. what must a us citizen do in order to get a passport - and how in god's name do the wt leaders get one without a compromise nobody else wd be allowed to make?.

is this another case like the change on vaccinations in 53,because nathan homo knorrr knew he cd die of tropical diseases touring the third world.

Can anybody post the oath Us citizens have to make when applying for a passport?

Yeah - I remember the 1995 article. I had been expecting something along those lines since the 1993 tote talk at theDC. I got up every day for work, feeling queasy as I knew we had been hoodwinked, but didn't yet have the courage to stand up and admit to myself it's all a steaming crock.

The anger came later as I realised how my life could have been if I did it my way.

Expressions on faces at DC/RC

i have become more observant at the last couple district conventions of jws faces and enthusiasm and it seems to be very somber.

i remember a couple of years ago i was an attendant at one of the upper sections at the blue cross arena in rochester, ny and in afternoon session at least half were curled up with their eyes closed, some with blankets.

the applause seems very forced and mechanical.

The attendants come up and ask, "are you alright, brother? Would you like to go back to your seat?"

I just said I had back problems and had to walk about to ease the PAIN...

BACH PARTITAS FOR SOLO VIOLIN

i have gotten soooo fed up of trying to sift my way through hundreds of items on amazon, that i am now sick to death, and wishing jsb were never even born (may almighty god forbid) - please note my posy reference to islamic philosophy:).

i want a good recording of the bach partitas for solo violin played by a really good musician on a baroque violin with good stylistic training.. any takers??.

Draw Close to Jehovah book study this week- Jesus is not YHWH

based on this weeks congregation bible study in the "draw close to jehovah" book, jesus is not yhwh from what you read in prov.

8:22-32. unless there it is a hebrew word snafu - at least verses 22, 25, 26, 27, 29, 30, 31 speaks of two people.. correct?.

If bruh22 was using YHWH in the JW way, then he is correct that the scriptures quoted show that the Father is not the Son.

Ah, it is dawning on me: are we using YHWH as the term for the Godhead, or in the way JW s use it as personal name for the Father, Jehovah, just as Jesus is the personal name for the Son?

New DVD review

i managed to catch the new dvd on youtube last night before the inevitable takedown.

as a film i felt it wasn't anywhere near as good as the prodigal movie, the story wasn't as dramatic, the characters much less interesting and developed and the direction weaker.

i found the prodigal relatively entertaining (all things considered) this one was just dull.. here are some of my random thoughts anyway [spoiler alert - ha!].
