  try again rodent!!.

  i reckon the pronunciation of the yhwh is purely an accident of how european languages evolved.. jerome said that some ignorant ones when reading the lxx pronounced the yhwh as 'pipi' as they thought the square hebrew letters to be greek ones.

  so we know manuscripts existed in his day with the letters.. in latin it was written iehovah.

  reading back there are lots of people sending pm ??

  and getting in touch and meeting up and doing things together and - going to see our mouthy.. how do i get to get in touch with yawl say if i'm abroad.

  (don't crack that one).. people on the board seem to be gradually getting to know each other in the real world too, and i think this is so great.

  i certainly blamed my drink problem at first on the frustrations and blah blah blah of the life as a jw.

  if you had a drink problem as a jw what caused yours.

  as a youngster with the original green nwt i could never reconcile how the wts could print in a nt verse "they thought they had seen a ghost!

  " when they were adamant such did not exist.. does anyone remember that verse (in acts, i think) i only have later editions where that and others are excised, and now s.o.

  is trying to "smokescreen" me with the usual denial card.

  who was the medieval monk who accounted all the popes to the end of the world in a prophetic document?

  john paul ii (i think he should be called jp the great) was described in the manuscript as "he who stoops in the sun.

  not only was jp a farmworker harvesting potatoes and turnips (believe me you'll stoop), but his charateristic gesture on arriving in foreign lands was to stoop and kiss the ground.

  the wt frequently quotes from "vines expository dictionary.

  " i heard recently that many of their interpretationsof the symbols of revelation were lifted from that dictionary, and applied by rutherfranz to any current events that could be made to fit.. e.g.

  the beasts.. does anybody have a copy - can you verify this.

  according to the "new light " on sheep and goats, nobody is judged as unworthy of a resurrection if he dies before christ sits down on his glorious throne.

  the judging is done in situ not in retrospect.
