why do the some bethelites love to talk about the black mamba?
the answer is simple... fear.. have you heard about the "black mamba"?
yes, the "black mamba" and no, not kobe bryant, but the most poisonous snake known to man.. there was a big roar of laughter from some in the audience.. .
FEAR is the Watchtowers friend !
Jehovah created these poisonous snakes so that in the noo system they can
paralyze fruits and vegetables so they can eat.
Amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!
did you ever volunteer/visit bethel back when you were in the borg?
at the time, it opended my eyes as i saw a lot of red flags.
for instance, volunteers were kept so busy without reasonable accomodations that everyone became in a robotic-zombie state of compliance with an unreasonably strict fast pased schedule.
I visted Brooklyn about 30 times and the farm twice.
I rememeber my brother taking us in to see the governing bodies offices after every one was gone.
(very taboo and privledged)
I felt like I was walking into the most holy of the holy in the tabernacle. LOL
With Bethel leaving Brooklyn I have a question,
in NYC they had ample congregations to divy up all the bethelites throughout the NYC boroughs.
Now that they are moving to rural upstate NY where will all these bethelites go to attend meetings?
Bethelite only congregations?
Won't this just create a more isolated ivory tower of holy bethelites and annointed if they have their own seperate congregations?
Does the Watchtower have a first , second , and third world country version of these videos? I wonder if Caleb wears his helmet to the meeting?
todaay's wt study mentioned jah's reasonableness when lot requested to go flee to zoar, instead of flight to the mountains.. jah had accomodated lot's request, and the city that was doomed to be destroyed got spared.
why can't we expect god to change his mind for the end of this system of things?
why can't we request the salvation for those that are df'd or da'd?
Who are JW's enemy ??
The dreaded apostate of course!
Get ready to be loved if your an apostate .
Don't hold your breath.
You have heard that it was said, you shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.
But I say to you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you
bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you.
If your enemy is hungry, give him food to eat; if he is thirsty, give him water to drink.
"But to you who are listening I say: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you,
okay, after a discussion with the seperated wife who admitted that because she is a jehovahs witness that she expects to be hated by everyone.
she expressed that she was "foreign" and not the same as others since she is not of this world.
okay, reality check - this is actually taught by the watchtower?
All JW's believe the reason they have so many problems is that Satan is focusing his attack on them.
Satan doesn't bother worldly people or ex JW's cause he already has them.
Watchtower training 101.
at the thread about jaracz steve2 made the following interesting comment.
by now, ted should be finding his heavenly posting a routinized bore: 4 years and still counting.
he will have chaffed at the notion that all decisions are made by jehovah god who consults no one and who brooks no questioning or independent thinking.
In order to judge mankind with empathy, Jehovah has selected judges who themselves were men.
But, these are special men. The anointed are men who, although weak, sinful and imperfect overcame
these obstacles and lived to glorify Jehovah and died faithful to the end.
Isn't this what Jesus is supposed to do?
Another thought I always had was why so many rulers ?
Say 14.4 billion people are in the noo system, you end up with 1 ruler for every 100,000 people.
Maybe the new system will be a little rowdy?
