i was listening to a youtube where a pastor relates his experience of attending a jw memorial.
he said something that was profound to me.. "how do you have a memorial for someone alive?".
they use this phrase all the time, even printing thousands and thousands of invitations to invite everyone to join them in doing this.. i googled that phrase to see what other christian church's use this phrase and was astounded to see that at least the first two pages of results are in relation to jw's only..

Anyone can die for something. The tricky part is being alive after dieing. Is that why normal Christians focus on Easter? Golly.
the new study article 28 watchtower that has just been published on jw.org is about apostate lies and introduces new concepts in their effort to compat apostasy in the congregations.
so despite the loosening of their recent disfellowshipping rules their fight against apostates is still raging hard.
according to the foreword of this article, they will concentrate on :.
I like how they equate themselves (the Watchtower) to Jehovah.

i’ve noticed a pattern where things don’t go the way i expect them to go and/or whenever i realise there is a trend and, i mentally adjust for the idea that the trend will continue, the trend stops in its tracks.
so on that basis, and given many people, including myself, and active jws, have been asking ‘what changes will the governing body make next?’ perhaps the (disappointing) answer is: ‘nothing much for a while to come’.
maybe they’ve made the changes they want for now, and will wait a while and see how it’s received.
I'm still looking for an expanding role for women. It's long overdue.
I agree, women will be given more responsibilities. Maybe #2 and #4 talks, or service meeting parts that deal with family and women subjects.
They can say the bible had prophetesses Sarah, Miriam, Deborah, Hannah, Huldah, Abigail, and Esther. What a grand privelege this willl be for our sisters!!!
Another stupid thing they do that could be scrapped is the passing of the emblems whithout partaking.
Allow all to partake only change the meaning. They can say it is for both the heavenly and earthly hope.
Only Jehovah and the individual know their heart and what hope they have.

The epicenter was Whitehouse Station NJ, about 5 miles from Trump's National golf club.
Undoubtedly this is a sign from Jehovah that the U.S. Whitehouse might be shaken by a new president, possibly. It seems this may be the start of something that could bring about the start of something big we believe, maybe.

What used to drive me crazy with my JW relatives was that you actually had to teach them and convince them what they really believe. Then you had to teach them why that belief was wrong.
