  Disassociate or "Fade"

  i know this has probably been discussed before, but i would like to take a poll of your thoughts as to what you personally would do, disassociate yourself or just fade over time.

  i've been in the process of "fading" myself since november of last year, (last meeting in january, and never going back).

  i have been considering making it official though by formal letter of da.

  My opinion is fade. Avoid all the elders buggin you. Plus you don't lose family because you're spiritually weak and are doubting.

  When you DA your still following their rules. (though it does give finality and a clean break)

  Do you regularly read such thrilling accounts published in The Watchtower and meditate on them?

  NO, I cannot. The excitement and thrill might give me a heart attack.

  It's funny how the Watchtower has judged these people and granted them exemplary status,

  worthy of imitating.

  The Watchtower really needs to put out a modern bible of noted prophets and prophetesses.(spelling?)

  so my wife is pushing me to go out in the ministry this weekend for the special dc invite tract work.

  i really do not want to go in fs, haven't been out in years.

  i don't even plan on counting the time if i do end up going.

  Go for the over slept idea excuse.

  Do you and your wife drink? Have some beer or wine and have a fun late friday night, then let nature take its course.I like your idea of writing the web sites on the tract. Does the WT put their web site on the tract? Maybe you could cross that one out.

  NO BENEFITS TO BLOOD TRANSFUSION...?

  the august 2006 awake, makes the claim that there is no benefit to blood transfusion except in trauma, according to proffessor bruce spiess:.

  there are few if any (medical) articles that supposrt transfusion actually improving outcome.

  " in fact, he writes that many transufusions 'may do more harm than good in virtually every instance except trauma,' increasing 'the risk of pneumonia, infections, heart attacks and strokes.'.

  People here base their hated towards the whole of the WTS on the actions of imperfect man. Jehovah has always used imperfect man to look after his people and his earthly organisation and has they are imperfect they make mistakes or they even do something that is not right in the eyes of Jehovah.

  So we have imperfect men making mistakes in an imperfect orginasation with imperfect rules.

  BUUUUTTTTTTTT, thou shall follow them perfectly.

  jehosofat, try questioning the elders about 607vs.587 and the relashionship of 1914 to them, see where that gets you.

  Hi foreverjw welcome to JWD,

  ask yourself if you want true unconditonal love

  Think about what this really means, ever watch tv talk shows and parents talk about loving there kids.The parents hate the things their kids are doing, but they are there for them and continue to love them no matter what.

  Now think about the WT and their shunning policy, I'm sorry but that is conditional love, if you don't meet the WT's conditions you will not be loved.

  I remember talks that told bros and sis to seek out the friendship of those who were strong spiritually

  to build yourself up. This used to piss me off because it basicly means elders MS pioneer good friends,

  publishers ok friends on sliding scale according to field service hours, irregular and inactive BAD FRIENDS.

  Great encouragement to start even more clicks in the cong.
