as i have posted about getting colon ca and having surgery and now going through chemo, the stress on me for keeping up my responsibilities at work and keeping up a home.
here is an update.
i am doing ok and jake is finally doing housework as i just don't have the energy to do it.
My doctor says I will beat this and there is no further sign at this time of cancer and he believes he caught it very early.

And yes! I have found "worldly" people to be far more compassionate than dubs. And I think us xJW's are far more compassionate for our own because of it.

my kitten who is about 16 weeks old now woke me up this morning by trying to nurse .
he came from a shelter so we think he might be a bit insecure ^_^ even though we adopted him at 7 weeks.
here's Tane' at 10 weeks old. He was a "box" kitten I fell in love with at the Hilo Farmers Market (Hawaii). He came home with us and has been a wonderful addition to our pride.
i see lots of names here that i don't know, and with the wt on a campain to keep its followers from looking at "unaproved sites" .

For them to survive I think they will need to reinvent themselves again. This trend will continue only if they continue on as they are right now.
Just like Catholicisms adaptation of pagan locations and holidays to bring in the peoples, or Episcapal church allowing women and gay priests? I don't think so. Too much BS too recent for that kind of reinvention IMO. So far their best allies are the political fear mongering and the seemingly strengthening voice of the "moral minority".
