Subject: UN and the destruction of religions of the world? I am a no longer one of Jehovah's Witness. However, I keep track of the cult and it's teachings and practices because I have family involved. Today in their weekly world-wide meeting of over 6 million Witnesses, they studied The Watchtower magazine. In today's study it says "...powers within the United Nations will see religion as a disturbing element and will act to destroy...Christendom as well as the rest..."
It goes on to say "...the entire world empire of *false religion stands on the brink of destruction". w 10/15/05 p.19
* False religion is everybody who is not a Jehovah's Witness.
Of course as a former Jehovah's Witness, I clearly understand that they as a world-wide Society believe they will be omitted from this impending destruction, and the Watchtower is always correct and blessed alone by God Almighty to predict the future. So I know you are planning to destroy all the world's religion any day now.
Are you bold enough to tell me how you are planning to do it. Can you give a 'heads up'..?
Oh, and can you explain why you choose to spare Jehovah's Witnesses? They say it is because they are spiritually clean and Jehovah will force you to spare them. Is that really what will happen?

i know many of you are unbelievers.

and i dont wish to offend you ( honest) but dr bob( i think some of you know him) gave a wonderful communion service at the blue mountains this month.

if any believers would like to hear it get in touch with the blue mountain 570-386-2154. it really helps to see the way the wt twisted this event....

sorry everyone but i need to rant.

about a week and a half ago we hired someone to work at my office.

up to that point only my boss and i worked here, however we realized that there was a lot of work that had to be done and we needed help.

About a week ago we got a call from another agency wanting to know if anyone here was intrested in working PT for them.

I worked PT for 3 agencies (Farmers) for almost 2 years for full-time+ hours. I didn't get any benefits but I had pleanty of income.

Maybe someone looking for FT can end up working for 2 agencies? Maybe get together with the other agency and run a joint adv. and interviewing for someone?

How about someone in your client-base?

Lola, I agree, it's not difficult work! I worked in an agency for several years.

It sounds like she took care of your problem for you. Not a good fit. But back to the hiring process is a pain in the arse, too. I know, had to do that, too.

I know this sounds crass, but call around to other insurance agencies and ask if someone is interested in PT work. Or, if you are in a city-wide group of agents like Farmers or St. Farm, ask the agents, they may have a PT person who wants more work... already trained!

My Mother's Being Announced in November As OFF The Pioneer List

after 40 years of serving as a regular pioneer and being on the infirm list, the circuit overseer, the po and another elder told her today in a 30 min.

conversation she was going to be announced as no longer pioneering.

the co mostly talked about me, my wife and daughter.

i am forcing myself to do this - i feel nauseated, depressed... my hands are shaking.

i know many of you see this and laugh.

but for those of you who arn't, you know how hard it is for me to do this.

There are many who have gone before you. Many of them on this and other JW Discussion Boards. Yes, you've made a big first step actually "speaking" (writing) about what you're doing through. Your confusion, guilt, fear, etc., are normal.

I'm the daughter of an Elder(tm) and was raised in the Truth(tm). Pulled out of HS in 1973 to go into the ministry before Armageddon came in 1975. I didn't leave because that prophesy didn't come true. I left because I married into the wrong JW family according to his congregation's elders, and I was shunned by people I had known most of my life; so called friends of my parents! I just couldn't take the double standard anymore, along with other hypocrasies I saw and experienced. I tried other congregations in the town I moved to, but my eyes were open and I now saw the B.S. everywhere! I no longer believed it was Jehovah's organization if one small city's congregations were that apparently corrupt, and left.

A few years back I told my dad that when required of me I would gladly stand before Jehovah, Jesus, and the 144,000 for everything I have done, good and bad. You see, I don't believe only JW.s have 'it'. (Actually, I don't think they ever did)

Like someone else said, "you're right where you are supposed to be". AND you can put away the rubber whipping hose!
