lol Mary I should take it. My Mum tells me that it emphasises what urgent times we live in. I just hate to get her hopes up that I will come back and I will not. I could never live that life again.

she wants me to take this brochure and i don't want it.
she tells me that they were instructed at the covention to only give it to those who showed an interest, and in other words not to waste these on those who don't seem like they deserve it!

I just got off the telephone with my Mom. She wants me to take this brochure and I don't want it. She tells me that they were instructed at the Covention to only give it to those who showed an interest, and in other words not to waste these on those who don't seem like they deserve it! (my words based on my conversation with Mum). Also this was the only publication released at the convention. It is just a magazine sized brochure. Why only one release. What do you make of all this?

the jehovah's witnesses are diabolical disciples of satan.they do eat their young and have murdered more innocents than the global terrorists .
we have tackled a wide range of topics here,such as wrecked family's and marriages,and their blasphemous gospel of gobbledygook.

ok it is hard to find full time employment for some I agree. How much harder when you cannot work during meeting times and need to take off for assemblies, and cannot socialize with your coworkers and shun employer sponsor activities like Winter/holiday parties? Think about it!

Problem recieving Watchtower & Awake "again"
by Dolllie ini posted earlier in the summer about some "racist" witnesses who told me that i could not recieve the watchtower & awake magazines, or attend the kingdom hall, because i was black & blacks were not able to understand the bible, "it was not for them".. i wrote a letter to the watchtower society & got a response!.
i moved out of that immediate area, a couple of towns(about 40 minutes away).
i contacted the watchtower society after moving here to have someone bring me the watchtower & awake.

I just cannot believe this. I grew up in org. They love to place mags and start studies with anyone. I think maybe they truly did not have another magazine. Never saw racism practiced in my 33 years in---not as a group at all!

i just put the best cat in the world to sleep this morning, and i feel like a murderer.
he had cat aids, and he was so sick this last year.

I can see both sides. I guess it all lies in how you look at it. I can't at this point reconsile myself to accept this holiday but I respect the opinions of those who can.

First, I apologize if this goes through twice, I cannot find the original post. My question is how do you feel about Halloween. I grew up as JW and never celebrated anything. I do now. I will not celebrate Halloween however as I believe it of the devil. The world acknowledges this and the holiday's origins undeniable. I would not allow my child to be involved in this one holiday as I do believe in evil spirits and want nothing to do with them. What do you think on this topic?

Thought I would throw this out to the board. I was raised a JW. I am not now. I now celebrate most holidays. I still will not celebrate halloween or if I had kids, I would not allow them. This is a holiday that the entire world acknowledges as being of the devil and associated with evil. So I want nothing to do with it. What is your opinions on the matter?
