One time I asked why the borg joined the UN. They said they'd have to get back with me. At the meeting in the little room they said it was to gain access to their library. I said nothing. And left. Pissed.
Any thinking person can understand that you don't need the UN library when you have a direct pipeline to god. Look at all they said about the UN in the past and see the hypocracy

There are things I beleive from the dubs. But everything I beleive can be backed by facts and data to prove the issue. I'm glad the watchtower Company judged me. What does the bible say about humans that judge? Where does that make them stand? I have so much peace knowing and allowing God to make the call.

Should the WTS be paying minimum wage & taxes for full-time volunteers?

the thread (via free minds) on "the real truth facing aging witnesses" has me back on one of my old topics.
namely, that full-time sales people, administrative and factory workers of a religious publishing company must be provided for when they retire - and i believe they should be paid minimum wage to boot!

Remember we don't need to worry about ourselves financially? The end is coming about 30 years ago. The sad thing is that the same mentality is used with taking care of people in this day and age as it was when their prophecy had not yet arrived. SAD.

by maxwell ini wasn't sure where to post this, but since it has to do with family planning in a permanent sort of way, i am posting here.
i have stated on two previous threads, that were about the choice to have or not have children, that i was planning on getting a vasectomy.
about a month ago i went to see the urologist and i got scheduled for the procedure which i went in for on last friday.

JW golfs to win $ need scriptural advice
by Beans inwell a jw at my work is taking a day off work to play in a golf tournament to win money.
he has to pay $60 to enter and can win up to $2500.. now i said that is really like gambling and he said he checked it out and it wa ok, so i asked if he had asked an elder and he said he looked on the disk.. so i need any info from the bible and publications that will prove him wrong so i can council him next week!.

How did you find your job?
by JH inoften, i speak to people who seem to have good jobs.
when i ask how they got that job, then they tell me that finally it came down to good contacts.. many jobs i had were also because of good contacts.
naturally, having a college or university degree is what it takes, but having contacts seems to be what opens doors.. so, how did you find your job, with help from an influencial person, or all by yourself?

The way I got my (great) job had lots to do with timing. Being told the end was coming, and did not, I got an education and worked hard instead of wasting time banging on doors and begging for money. Otherwise, this is the first time I've posted. I'm recently df'd and feel pretty good inside about that, but the long family involvement hurts. Just got back from the district convention and learned that Satan has been busy this past year desiging clothes, fancy vehicles, running the internet, harassing witnesses, operating tatoo parlors, programming video games, making movies and books--to name a few. God pissed away the year making a book that only one page can be read of and a flimsy brochure.
