Relationships are package deals and if his heart goes back to the borg that one part you will not be in, can you handle that?

Thought: If; as the scriptures say; no one knows the day or the hour of his presence, and he comes as a thief in the night...then those presidents would not have known or sensed his presence, and only after Christ’s taking heavenly power would it be apparent. That hasn’t happened yet either.

why do so many "non witness " jws not bother to find out the "truth"
by sosad inmy siblings who have left (3/7 last count) have no desire to talk about or hear about much less read about what the deal is witht the org our parents decided would bring them everlasting life.
it is head shaking to me - and i try not to bring it up at all- but when they ask, or it comes up and they are all freaked out about me being interested in it all i just shake my head.
even friends i grew up with in the org have no desire to know - they are just not interested.

Its a BIG void, left behind, when leaving the borg, and it is not easily filled and the process for indoctrination is the m echanism that is in place, and to try and learn something new, so it feels counter productive to talk about the "truth" or another religion. "Religion" is your own personal beliefs, I found using this approach in my learning expierences opens a lot of doors that were closed by borg brainwashing.

He was dissfellowshipped because he had lunch with a business partner that was dissfellowshiped, much of what is in the book had already been published by the WT when he was GB, so they couldnt get him on that, could they? He is one of the WT marters that has spoken out with a loud voice.

Same thing my in-laws said about me, but I think of the time I did in prison for the "truth", and how I was the one who had to council them to stop associating with their son who was in prison for rape and DF, I was told that Jesus himself could not tell them to stop..who is evil?

Your baptize to an org not to God, and the borg does not recognize other religious baptizims. So is for God or org that one commits themselves too? If its to God then it doesnt matter what org you belong to.

fader's wife expresses 1st doubts....
by sweet pea intalking to a friend (ex-elder) today whose wife was (is) a close friend of mine .
she's still a jdub but won't talk to me now i'm df'd (apparently it hit her very hard when we left) and so she busied herself with ministry and meetings in search of comfort and affirmation of her faith.
this didn't work for her and she came out with an unexpected question... .

Seems like if the world were round, HE would be wrapping HIS cloud around it and not spreading it, like butter on a flat piece of toast.

1 Thess 5:3 - What do you think....
by The Scotsman in1 thessalonians 5:3 says this - "whenever it is that they are saying: peace and security!
then sudden destruction is to be instantly upon them just as the pang of distress upon a pregnant woman; and they will by no means escape.
" nwt... jehovahs witnesses believe this is refering to our time with a final fulfillment imminent which of course triggers total destruction for nearly everyone and everything.

Mary, I always love your comments, lets work one other angle into Matt, " But on account of the chosen ones whom he has chosen he has cut short the days." IF Christ came in 1914 some of those chosen ones that witness his coming HAVE to still be alive....not.
We are only in another cycle of history, he has not taken power. If the GB has to hang fullfillment of prophesy on a date, they havent figured it out yet, and to say they know the day and hour is presumptuous, "
"Concerning that day and hour nobody knows, neither the angels of the heavens nor the Son, but only the Father. For just as the days of Noah were, so the presence of the Son of man will be. For as people were in those days before the flood, eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark;" Noah was building the ark, and he did not know when the flood would come.
Thess also says;

For YOU yourselves know quite well that Jehovah’s day is coming exactly as a thief in the night. 3 Whenever it is that they are saying: "Peace and security!" then sudden destruction.
