i was at lunch the other day.
when i over heard an associate from the photo lab, saying that this would be her son's first birthday party.
then another associate asked is was a jw, and she said yes, but no longer.
I don't know if she will come to the site or not. I think she still believes that it is the truth. I get mixed feelings from her. Today her soon to be ex-husband was there in the store and he kept looking at me like I did something wrong. I don't think I did anything wrong. And I don't know how much she has told him about me either. Oh well, I don't really care if he likes me or not.

I was at lunch the other day. She said that her soon to be ex-husband was a bigger believer than her. that she had married into faith. So, I went on eating lunch. When I was able to talk to her alone I asked her about it. She was telling me that the reason why she was divorcing her husband was because she wanted out of the faith. That she no longer believe in it the way he had. Then she asked about me. I explained to her that I was never a JW but I understood her pain. she asked me how. I simply told her that my soon to be ex-husband was a JW as well, that he no longer believes in the faith and hadn't beleive in it for a long time. She then asked if he was ever disfellowshiped i said no. that he just faded out. Then she asked me if I knew anything about the sexual molesting of children in the KH. I told her yes, I asked her why? She said that she believes something has happened in her old one. but wasn't for sure.
I honestly think I was sent to help her. But I could be wrong. I'll keep everyone posted about this.

Dave, maybe you were my purpose. To keep you out and to learn the truth on your own. Think about it I get saved 3 weeks before we met. I never thought about it until now.

I have to be honest here, as I was never a JW so I don't know what it feels like to be a born again Christian. But I can tell you this being saved at the age of 18 felt like I had a purpose in my life to do something. And three weeks later I met Dave. I never knew Dave's background until we went to the hosiptal to visit is Great Grandmother, And his Grandmother told me the real reason why that she would not be attending the wedding along with his Dad and Stepmom. I was heart sick I didn't want to cause a riff between family. I had even thought about converting but something always held me back.
But to get back to the topic, But you just felt a peace and earning to do good for somebody or something.

UPDATE!!!!
Grandma is much better after taking her meds that the doctors gave her, she is doing alot better.
Thanks to everyone! She just had a little taste of the nasty flu bug that is going around here. But at her age it could have been anything.

With all of our prayers and support and my stubborned will, she is alot better as we speak. At lunch she was able to eat chicken noodle soup, and later this afternoon she was able to eat some peach yogurt. I am making dinner right, some chicken with cream sauce and mashed potatoes. she said that she would eat.

Mouthy Thanks for the wake up call. I would have to stay strong on her behalf, I am the only grand-daughter from the only daughter of the family, so I guess there is a special bond.

I don't think the Crohn's is what making her sick this time, I think it is the flu. She said that food just doesn't taste good to her. I am going to try some more chicken noodle soup for lunch. even she just drink the broth with some crackers. and maybe some yogurt, she likes yogurt.

She ate some toast this morning. She is sleeping right now. She said that she is feeling alittle bit better today all except for the headache. Thank you to everyone for the kind words.

She has been fighting the Crohn's now for over 20 years. it is something that she lives with. She took her flu shot last year in November to be exact. I am going to miss work tomorrow so I can stay home with her and try to get her to eat and drink. I am hoping some yogurt will help tomorrow. She was always good at taking care of others when they are sick now it is our turn to take care of her. You know what the funny thing is, I moved out here last part of October with my parents, to help out when needed. I have an uncle just three blocks away and I can count how many his has visited on both hands. and usually when he has visited is when other family memembers are in town.
