We finally found out what was making her so sick in the hospital, and it was Morphine. We did some research on it and found out that you don't give patients over a certain age Morphine or it will mess with their minds. And you also don't patients morphine with a brain tumor. And she was on a morphine self inflicting pump, where she was able to give herself a shot of morphine every 10 minutes if she wanted to. At the end her hands were so shaky it is hard to say how much morphine she actually got, and come to find out that she is allergic to all narcotic pain meds.

So this is what we have done for the last 2 months since she has been home, put all pain meds up and out of her reach, her meds are given to her at the same time just like a hospital, We put her an appetite steroid, and she is on a depression med and muscle relaxer for her headaches and she hasn't had one in 2 months. the Dr's finally listened to me. They found out she had some nerve damage in her neck from a chiropractor. she is on 2 different types of alzheimer's meds. This has helped tremendously. She is back to her old self again. the only thing is that her hearing got worse while she was on the morphine and that is a side-effect. she is going to the Dr for that next month.

But from almost loosing her to this in 2 months is a miracle in my eyes, i couldn't have done without all the prayers and good thoughts and vibes i got.

So with that said I want to thank each and everyone who done this for me, I have my grandma for a little longer. She will be 85 this November. She is truly my hero.

Dave I wish you the best in life, I only wanted you to be happy. I think with you doing this you will be such a better person, in your eyes. You have to love yourself first so you can move on. I will always be here if you need a friend.

I have one dog a poodle named Brutis and one black cat named Sheba she thinks she rules the house.

They both are spoiled rotten. they are both about 10 years old

I was wrong

this is hard for me to say, i don't even know where to begin.. .

first off i was wrong for judging a whole group of people based on the actions of a few others.. .

there have been many courteous replies from some of the gay posters on here, and i know it must have been hard considering all the things that i said.

Dave, It takes a big man to admit when he is wrong. I am proud of you for that.

Hillbilly, butt out! I don't need closure from him. I need him to get his life back to normal, if that is possible.

file for a divorce... she needs closure too. Or take her back......

He is not the only one who can file for a divorce, I can. And I have my reasons why I haven't filed yet.

so my girlfriend and i are getting very serious, and i've bought her engagement ring, should be done being built sometime in may.

then at some point later, i'm going to ask her to marry me.

she was with me and picked out her ring, so she knows its coming.

Congrats on your wedding!

At the time of Dave's and I wedding his great-grandmother was very ill. So I assumed that is why his dad's side of the family would not be there. We went to the hosiptal where his great-grandmother was to visit with the family, while Dave was saying good-bye to his Granny, his family pulls me out to the side to tell that the reason why they can't be at out wedding was because it was all my fault. Because I wasn't a JW. And that I was following my beliefs of having a Methodist preacher marry us. Even though I had already given up my dreams of the "Church wedding". For the entire time Dave and I were together I always tried to please that side of the family. It finally dawned on me that the only way I was ever going to please that was if I became one of them and that was not happening!

My Dad wasn't at my wedding either, not biological father. The man who raised me and care for me while I was growning up was there, he was the one who walked me down the isle. It is very hard to come from a family that has different beliefs and has divorce parents or even grandparents. I don't wish that on anyone.

I say you and your girlfriend have a great wedding! because it sounds like you 2 deserve it. And you dad will have to answer for the biggest mistake of his life later when the time is right!

I always thought that this saying was funny "you can pick your friends, but you sure in the hell can't pick your family"

I have GREAT NEWS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Grandma gets to come home today!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! After 3 weeks in the hospital!!!!!!

some good news about Grandma, she is moving to a smaller hospital tomorrow where she knows the nurses and her family dr is there.

She is doing some better we think the morphine is finally out of her system, she woke up today and knew everybody she just didn't know why she was there.

but everything is looking up!

there is some good news about my Grandma tonight, she was up and eatting this morning when my uncle walked in. and she remember who people were tonight. I think if they would quit giving her morphine she would do alot better. Thanks to everyone who has helped.
