  Arctic Ice Increasing

  In Jukkastarvi Sweden a new Ice hotel will be constructed with 5000 tons of ice taken from the river Torne. There has been a bumper harvest because the ice is 10cm thicker than usual.

  The Hotel will open in December 11 this year.

  so i had a discussion with my mother about this, and she claims that because of this that: "we are surely living in the last days right now" while i must admit myself that the situation seem chaotic, i don't want to believe that it is the last days.

  so question is, how do i face an opinion like that?

  Tony Abbott has announced that Australia will accept 12000 refugees but there will be no Muslims in that number. Australia will only accept minority groups Christians and other minorities.

  We gave the world the Royal commission and we gave Australia safety because of less guns and less muslims.

  I'm getting proud of our country.

  It takes 5 people to track 1 suspected terrorist and I'm sick of people coming here and threatening to kill us all because we aren't the right religion.

  since many things have changed, new religions, and religions changing doctrine, etc, for everytime a jw says nobody except jws, 1. refuse to go to war.

  2. refuse to be in politics 3. preach about god's kingdom.

  The SDA church recommends its members they should serve their country in time of war as non combatants although some members do go into frontline service as combatants. SDAs have chaplains in the military Barry Black was a rear Admiral and was head of the chaplains in the US navvy. Barry Black then became head of chaplains in the US senate.

  Some SDAs don't get involved in politics except in a referendum. Many SDAs do vote. The American Neurosurgeon Ben Carsons is an SDA and is running for president of the US this year.

  There is no definite position among SDAs with these two questions.

  All christians guard against fornication and sins which put them in a position of rebellion against God.

  SDAs don't disfellowship call people apostates they simply DROP names from membership so as not to infer negativeness.

  nitty gritty, The numbers speak for themselves the victims in the JW religion were involved with the elders in the non of reporting a crime 1006 to zero reported to the police.

  High control groups have a higher than normal sexual deviant problem. The WT society have been unrelenting in criticising other groups on this very issue.

  I think that some people are confused about what is a refugee

  Someone can be classified as a refugee for the following reasons.

  1 Fleeing persecution for political reasons

  2 Fleeing persecution because of sexual orientation

  3 Fleeing persecution for political reasons

  4 A person fleeing is qualified as a refugee by reporting to a refugee centre closest to the country he or she is fleeing. A refugee doesn't have the privilege to travel around the world to find the richest country to claim refugee status there. Asylum seekers have come to Australia from the middle east, India, Sri Lanker, Afganistan all for a better life by there own admission.

  5 A person is not a refugee fleeing a war or poverty.

  These terms are according to the UN charter

  Gday Loveunihateexams,

  I'm glad we agree on most things but using special forces to eliminate people smugglers isn't that going a bit overboard. The people smugglers would be put out of business by turning the boats around and the illegals know then not to try it again. I don't think Australia used special forces just putting the people smugglers out of business was all that was necessary to close them down.

  Australia has the answer in the royal commission and also the answer to illegal refugees. Turning the boats around in the last year there have been zero people drowned on a dangerous passage to Australia. Before that there were thousands lost at sea.

  In the last 10 years there has been zero number of massacres because of the restrictions on guns here. Before that we had one every year.

  JW UN Rumor

  yes, i have returned.. a short recap of major events since my inactivity began: i finally revealed to my parents that i do not believe the same thing they believe in (after i was caught smooching my girlfriend by a family of good-for-nothing pieces of human feces), and of course they view themselves as failed parents who were unable to brainwash their children.

  that is, of course, the reason why they are much more controlling over what i do in my life now (my mom even tried having a "bible study" with me).

  i told them everything and i was unable to dent their jw imposed mind force field, while also exposing a clear jw misunderstanding of probability, evolution, history, logic/reason, and the big bang theory.. in a conversation i had with my mother a few weeks back (i also heard this rumor before, but my mother told me it again), she mentioned how the un held a summit of all religions and when the jws presented themselves and mentioned their preaching work warning of the coming un ban on religion (referring to an international organization who can't even prevent genocide, much less impose human rights), a un official came up to the jw who presented the cult and told him to "speed up the preaching work", because they plan on doing the ban soon.. it saddens me to think of how ignorant jws are in relation to the principles upon which the un was founded and being unaware that the un at least has some sense as to not ban religion, but this rumor, as ridiculous as it is, needs to be put at rest.

  Gday Ivanatahan,

  I remember at a bible study the teacher rubbished the big bang theory. I made the point that just as we study nature to find the truth about things the big bang theory is not in any way in disagreement with the bible. The bible teaches 'how to get to heaven' not 'how the heavens go'.

  When I went to the SDAs they have a hymnbook and many of the hymns are Anglican or written by other christians. Many hymns have the name Jehovah in them 'Oh though great Jehovah ' and many more.

  When praying other christians don't use in general the mantra of Jehovah

  Australians can own centre fire guns and for farmers there are few restrictions one being a safe is required also automatic guns are banned.

  A person not a property owner can join a club or get permission to shoot on a property in order to own a gun.

  When I was a kid you only had to have the money to buy a gun no licensing at all.
