if an atheist leads good life with high moral standards, because he choice to do so and thinks for logic it is a good thing, does it not mean much more then when a theist does the same, because his gods tells him to do it?

A person does good things because he is saved, not to be saved.

There is a promise that Christ will, at some point, feed us in "full measure" from the tree of life. At that point we will become like THEM, God the Father and Christ Jesus. Knowing good and evil and living forever. What else is there? At that point we will be one with God and Christ. I don't think it's a stretch to think of God and Jesus as one.

Read all of Romans 6. In verse 7, it is clear that Paul is talking about those that have been baptized. The word "dead" means 'dead to sin' because the person has been baptized. When we are baptized we die to sin.

Read it like this. 6We know that our old self was crusified with him so the the sinful body might be destroyed and we might no longer be enslaved to sin. 7For he who 'has been baptized' is freed from sin.

there are some questions that i want to ask you all, and would really be very thankful if there comes out someone to respond it purely.

1- adultery [even looking lust for a woman (naturally for a woman to look lust for man)] is forbidden by lord, and jesus came to fulfil the law, and also in deuteronomy from 18th to 25th chapter, this sin and the punishment to it is being explained very briefly, now why many of those people who attribute themselves to the lord christ are completely in a adultery shaped life?

these manage to polarise us in informative albeit heated debates.

an argument should have a counter argument so that as much ground is covered as possible on both sides of the debate.

Living in the Worst Times? NOT

i just saw this article in us news, just thought i'de share it.

the wts and other religions love to push the idea that things are so bad now, that we are living in the worst times in history so we will only live for the "new system" bs, but the reality is that i wouldn't trade where we are now for any other time in history.

if we on this board would have lived in the inquisition we would have been burned at the stake after endless hours of torture only for disagreeing with the church and choosing to be a free thinker.

Revelations 20:10 ......and they will be tormented day and night for ever and ever.

Sounds like the lake of fire is hell.

ok i have googled this and can't find a list of foods that contain blood.. i have learned from this board that chocolate, milk and hotdogs contain blood.. does anyone know of more or when i can find a list of foods that contain blood?.

i would love to see some friends of mine change their diet....lol

Sure. Get a nice steak and leave it on a plate on the counter for about 3 hours. All that red stuff on the plate....that's blood.

It's a 85% certainty! I guess that means it a 15% certainty that it won't happen. It's all about a competition between the third true church (the WTS) and the fourth true church (the lord's witnesses).
