So, just to sum this up.
According to the WTS writings, Christ has not taken His throne to separate the goat from the sheep. That will happen in the future.
If Christ has not taken His throne yet, He can't have thrown Satan out of heaven to cause the trouble here on earth and he can't have chosen his FDS. Not until He takes His throne.
So will they "clear" this up with more "new light"? Or do they need to? Are the dubs to dumb (numb) to notice?

Glaring contradiction between 1995 new light and Society's authority as FDS
by yaddayadda inin the 15 october 1995 watchtower the society brought out 'new light' that although christ sat down as king in 1914, but he did not sit down on his 'glorious throne' mentioned at matt 25: 31 in that year.
i cant understand why the society bothered to make this change in 1995?
this change was in some ways more damaging to them than the generation change, because the society essentially sawed off the branch they were sitting on by announcing this 1995 new light.

"19 What are the belongings over which the newly crowned Master appointed his faithful slave? All the spiritual things that belong to Him here on earth. For example, two decades after Christ’s enthronement in 1914, “a great crowd” of “other sheep” was identified. (Revelation 7:9; John 10:16)"
They can't even keep their own story straight.
10/15/95 WT
"25 This means, then, that Jesus’ ‘sitting down on his glorious throne’ for judgment, mentioned at Matthew 25:31, applies to the future point when this powerful King will sit down to pronounce and execute judgment on the nations"
How can "Christ sitting down on his glorious throne" be in the future (1995) when in 2004
they say it happened in 1914? -

After doing just 5 minutes of research.
From 10/1/80 WT page 27
"THE MESSIANIC KING AND HIS SHEEPLIKE SUBJECTS
9 In his prophecy concerning “the conclusion of the system of things,” Jesus referred to his kingship in a full sense. According to the apostle Matthew’s account, Jesus closed his prophecy by giving the illustration of the symbolic sheep and goats. At Matthew 25:31, 32 he opened up the illustration by saying: “When the Son of man arrives in his glory, and all the angels with him, then he will sit down on his glorious throne. And all the nations will be gathered before him, and he will separate people [not nations] one from another, just as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats.” This takes place after Satan the Devil and his demons are ousted from their heavenly location and privileges down to our earth’s vicinity by the enthroned King Jesus Christ. All of this is as prophetically pictured in Revelation 12:5-9. As to what that accomplishment means, we read:
10 “And I [John] heard a loud voice in heaven say: ‘Now have come to pass the salvation and the power and the kingdom of our God and the authority of his Christ, because the accuser of our brothers has been hurled down, who accuses them day and night before our God! And they conquered him because of the blood of the Lamb and because of the word of their witnessing, and they did not love their souls even in the face of death. On this account be glad, you heavens and you who reside in them! Woe for the earth and for the sea, because the Devil has come down to you, having great anger, knowing he has a short period of time.’”—Rev. 12:10-12.
11 What informed person can deny that such extraordinary “woe for the earth and for the sea” has marked our 20th century since 1914, the year in which, according to all evidences, the so-called “four horsemen of the Apocalypse” began their ride? (See Revelation 6:1-8.) That must be an unmistakable “sign” that in 1914 the “last days” of this world system of things began and that we have entered the “conclusion of the system of things.” Certainly, also, since the ouster of Satan the Devil and his demons from heaven, it has been the “last days” for them before they are hurled into the abyss before the 1,000-year reign of the Messiah Jesus. (Rev. 20:1-3, 7) Plainly, World War I of 1914 and World War II of 1939 and the scores of wars that have followed since 1945 throughout the earth are a modern parallel of the “wars and reports of wars” (along with famines, pestilences and earthquakes) that Jesus said would make the years of 29 to 70 C.E. the “last days” of the Jewish system of things that revolved around Jerusalem and its rebuilt temple.
12 The agonizing distress that befell Jerusalem in 70 C.E. fell short of being what Jesus described in his prophecy of Matthew 24:21, 22. But today the antitypical Jerusalem (Christendom), yes, the whole world empire of false religion, yes, the entire global system of things, is headed for the “great tribulation such as has not occurred since the world’s beginning until now, no, nor will occur again.” Not strange, then, that we see undergoing fulfillment the prophecy that the apostle Paul made about 65 C.E. and set down in 2 Timothy 3:1: “You [Timothy] may be quite sure that in the last days there are going to be some difficult times.”—The Jerusalem Bible."
So, "....... Satan the Devil and his demons are ousted from their heavenly location and privileges down to our earth’s vicinity by the ENTHRONE King Jesus Christ."
And "What informed person can deny that such extraordinary “woe for the earth and for the sea” has marked our 20th century since 1914......'
But if Christ has not (according to New Light) taken His throne yet, how can the Devil and his demons be ousted to cause all this trouble?
Yaddayadda, you are right. They have shot themselves in the foot, big time. -

Why does the WTS insist everyone sign up for the Ministerial School ?
by RULES & REGULATIONS ini never enjoyed giving # 2 talks.
i never enjoyed being at a podium and speaking.
i took drama in high school just to get over the fear of being in front of people and speaking.

John Doe,
I understand what you are saying. And it makes perfect sense in the eye's of man.
What I'm talking about are gifts of the spirit.
Man is not born to know God. Man can only know God through the spirit.
Man can only serve God by the spirit.
Man can serve man by practice but man serves God by the spirit.
We each have a "Calling" and if something is not our calling then all the practice in the world will not make us effectual.
I'm kind of narrow minded, aren't I?
BTW, I could be wrong. -

I don't know the answer to your question.
I also don't understand why each person is not allowed to have and exercise their own God given talents.
1 Corinthians 12
4"Now there are varieties of gifts...."
14"For the body does not consist of one member but of many."
29"Are all Apostles? Are all prophets? Are all teachers?....."
The point is most employers recognize that different people have different talents and hire people for each job that needs to be done. They don't expect every employee to be able to do every job in the plant.
The Bible clearly shows that God understands this. Why doesn't the WTS? -

New Watchtower conductor guidelines
by Frequent_Fader_Miles inhinging on an earlier thread on this topic; here's a quotation from the text of the letter to all elders:.
"the kingdom ministry school textbook emphasizes the importance of thorough preparation on the part of the study conductor.
but this does not mean that he should introduce additional material from his own personal research and thus possible overshadow what has been published in the magazine.

They can't have someone studying from the Bible and that being taken as "equal or greater value" to what the FDS has lied about.
Remember "it's a closed book" only understood by the FDS. But then they say they are not prophets? What a bunch of BS. -

The Trinity ( arguement to end all arguments I hope )
by 5go ini pretty much don't think much of christendom.
but why do christians insist on holding such an unholdable position with the trinity.. the bible i agree holds proof for both trinity and nontrinity positions.. i still don't get why that christians other than catholics would hold such an untenable position as god came down to earth but didn't, and he prayed ( talked ) to himself a lot.. .
i remember a comedy sketch were some kids were stumping a nun in catholic school with question on the trinity and the eurachrist..

John 5:22-23
The Father judges no one, but has given all judgment to the Son, that all may honor the Son, even as they honor the Father.
How can the Son be honored like God, unless He is God? The type of honor due God is not due anyone else. Do JWs honor Jesus like they honor Jehovah? No, they do not follow the bible, the words of Jesus in John 5. -

by Doug Mason ini have read some say that the shift from 1874 to 1914 for the parousia took place in 1943, just one year after rutherford died.
as i was looking through some material, i came across the following from the golden age of april 10, 1935, page 432. .
the long anticipated hope of the world began his reign on lifeday.

What does the WTS teach about the generation of 1914?
by bob1999 inthis is from the jehovah's witnesses official web site.

"some, at least, of the generation that saw the "beginning of pangs of distress" in 1914 will live to see paradise restored on earth.

"Some, at least, of the generation that saw the "beginning of pangs of distress" in 1914 will live to see Paradise restored on earth."
I thought this had been changed in 1995.
Why would the WTS still have this on their website?

How can you be faithful yet not gullible or misled?
by The Dragon ini hear all the time how leaders justify why people should buy into and follow their guesses...and the whole defense is if you don't you have no faith.. what protects a "faithful" person from becoming prey to a self-exalted leader and their guesses?
or are the faithful meant to be prey or something?.
