Yeah---Because of their love for sensationalism and doubting society, it seems alot of them were too ignorant and bored and uneducated to realize what was a genuine coverup as apposed to assinine theories.

Writing bad checks on Jehovah's account: the Governing Body
by Terry inthe mouthpiece of jehovah speaks in his name with authority.
the governing body is the only channel of communication with the supreme being.
they identify themselves as the faithful and discreet slave.. if they are faithful, why do they write checks that bounce using jehovah's checking account?

G'mo's Poll#2 - "What will make the "faithful" really think?"
by Glenmore inodrade - from the model jw family - has a brother who is a "lifer", a bright fellow as i recall.
it makes me wonder what would really make someone truly think, to step away from the cult and take a good hard look.
for the most part any form of "apostasy" would be shied away from, so hoping someone would listen to logic, archealogical evidence, common sense etc just wouldn't work.

' Da Troof ' is very powerful. I still see a few friends who are still in it, and you can tell they are crying out for help with their doubts and frustration. They simply can't risk the stigma of being df'd and can't get out of their miserable comfort zone of conformity.

How Many JWs or ExJWs Have Some Type of Mental Problems?
by minimus indo you think they are more succeptible to illness than others?
?

christopherrobin
The ratio is much higher--especially for married women w/ kids.
The repression of feminine presence and the overall control methods of the organization affect and worsen any predisposition towards depression and mental problems.
That--and the fact that if you have a problem, you are told
1.go in service more.
2.pray more
3.don't miss meetings
4.don't get professional help--they are agents of this system---hey, if they cause you to become self-aware--you might have the ability to detect their controlling methods
5.just wait for the new system to fix your problems

" We Miss You "
That's why we--
1. Gossip in epic proportions about what wrongdoing you must have engeged in to lose Jah's spirit.
2. Will go back to the cargroup after telling you how much we love you and repeat step one to ALL of the car's inhabitants.
3. Will drop hints about taking Satan's side in the Big Universal Issue.
4. Will ask--Are you OK---They are absolutely miffed when you reply "sure I am never better" and just let the following silence completely take the wind out of their sails.
5. Will try to see if there is evidence of a.Smoking b.a new boyfriend (or girlfriend) c. worldly friends d. anything that would give them ammunition to tell the elders about your vice (or vices).
6. Stab you in the back if you barely give a hint that you don't want to go in service, to meetings, give talks, join the brotherhood, etc. BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH

Very well--------------how many people come out of drugs, alcohol, cults, bad relationships, disfunctional families and still love the genuine ones around them now and even some of those who, while decieved, were still good people still in the witness club-----knowing that in time they will hopefully see the light and be able to move on. I might have '"wasted time'" w/ the JW's, but it was priceless education !!!!!!!!!!!!!
KUDOS TO ALL OF YOU WHO CAN APPRECIATE YOUR NEW FREEDOM AND FRIENDS!!!!!!!!!!
