  hi, does anyone have tips on how to get a 2yo to dress herself or let me dress her in the morning when i am in a hurry & her dad has left her shoes at her grandmother's, and we are late, and my thesis is due in 3 days, without completely losing it?!!

  hah you sound like me, only im not working on a thesis at the moment. Mine is 16 months, but she is growing more independant by the day. Im am going to school now as well, and yes it is very hard. Thats why im taking the summer off, I need some down time before the hectic days really start. I try to keep mine on a tight routine in the morning...that way she knows...she wakes up, has breakfast, I set her clothes out the night before, we change and get ready to get out the door.....Of course it doesnt help when she is running around the house screaming at the top of her lungs..which Im sure you have experienced also

  crappy advice, I know but its all I could come up with on short notice. Plus, she is throwing a tantrum right now because it is bedtime! lol

  lol at this THread, my first name Is Melanie, my mom says b/c of gone with the wind, Ah do deeclare:)

  and my middle name is a early 60s rocker, Dion.....spelled the same and everything....At first I didnt my full name coz ppl would mispronounce it, and if they did I would be like...what rock have you been living under?

  But its unique...I didnt get the short end of the stick....my brothers name is Lief Donovan!

  KM article -tip minimum 15%

  we got a command at the service meeting tonight - the km article on the summer district conventions said if we are dining out we really should tip 15-20% minmum -this was repeated twice = good to know the witnesses are getting less tight

  In indiana, miniumu wage is 2.12 for servers.....and yes you work your ass off for EVERY tip....If you work enough hours, your little paltry check might pay your taxes.

  And waiting tables is no fun, lemme tell ya (especially when it comes to serving other JWS) I could always tell which ppl were dubs in resteraunts, they are the ones that look like if they had a lump of coal up their butt, they would have a diamond in no time flat.

  I never sought out their tables :(

  wow...it has been a while....

  A friend of mine who grew up working on tandy's and old c64s first introduced me to chatting. I believe that was in about 1987, or 88, somewhere in there. Have been on the net since my 286 days (anyone feeling old yet?) in 89-90. Finally got an upgrade in 94 and got a brand new 14.4 modem! Had prodigy, aol, then wv_Net, a state subsidized dialup. In 96 my bf at the time worked for compuserve, and got free access (sweet) and started to look at exjw sites a few days after I turned 18. Havent been the same since .

  My mom and dad went on a houseboat cruise w/them to dale hollow. Now that you've said their names. Yep thats them. They were always fun. Sad to hear they got divorced.

  My parents had friends in the west union hall.....they were on the outer cusp of our circuit. Cant really remmber their names, but I know the family Im speaking of had a wife that had long bright red hair, and a guy that was shorter than the wife with blond hair. Does that help?

  Also I have a posing question for you: Did you attend the Steubenville quick build ( maybe 10 yrs ago) If you did, our paths might have crossed :)

  My ex MS BF lived in Col, OH for a while and worked for compuserve. Cant remember what hall he went to , but let me know if either of those ppl sound familiar
