i have concluded that the truth about my existence lies somewhere in between being a hybrid human/alien product to being a son of god with a meaningful purpose.
If you summed up your life guiding principles you want to pass on to your children what are these?
Beware of organized religion, especially one that claims that they alone are the one true religion.

Try some independent thought and drop
the "parrot" mentality.
The three traits listed there are sorely
lacking in the WTBTS.
They reactively change when their false
prophesy drops back in their lap, when
their membership drops etc, etc, etc.....
These old farts would not know a proactive
postition as the lawyers and "committee"
mentality now reign supreme.

most religions out there have this thing against witnesses.
many will do anything to get them banned or to shut their mouths.

just amazed at the number of people who have never even heard of the Dub's

I think persecution is somewhat a matter of perspective of who and where we are.
As a "divorced" man I am persecuted by the Dub's themselves. If I was to travel
to Taliban territory and try to teach "Christianity" of any brand I would be very
persecuted. Read about the two hostages recently, huh? IMHO I think to boils
down to "being a victim". Act like a victim and someone surely will treat you like
one.
You sound like you want to be "jumped on" with your unimformed, trite and "wanna"
be attitudes so don't be too put out by mine and other reactions. I have been where
you are. I don't feel I am a better person than you, just at a different juncture in my life
which you too will experience whether in or out of the boring, insipid, generic BORG.

When I try to explain to my new freinds
where I have been hiding out the past 25 years
I have had more people incorrectly identify
me, us, as Mormon than anything else.
At least the Mormons have some "identity"
as in "two white guys with white shirts on bicycles
with helmets". Not much but at least some
interesting and distinguishing characteristic.

I think the GB should bring back the "sandwich"

Now that I am in "stealth" mode and have
worldly contacts, and gasp worldly girl
friends, I am amazed that all most all of
these many people have NEVER even
heard of JW"S much less of what the
"dubs" believe.
Forget about the one Billion Chinese,
one Billion Indians, one Billion of the
Muslim faith and nearly one Billion
Catholics.
I would like to hear others take on the,
IMHO, huge failure to even make an
impression here in the good old U.S.A.
