  i believe i have set the wheels in motion for what i believe will lead to my disfellowshiping.

  i have been inactive since 1987 and still getting along with the witnesses (invited to gatherings etc.

  ) but something came up that finally push my buttons just enough to make me explode.

  i want to take this opportunity to express my love and thanks to all of you who have generously offered to support me during this time in my life, both financially and emotionally.. i haven't been in a position to respond to any of my e-mail yet, but i promise i will do so soon.

  i read the eulogy for my father i posted here to my mother and she clarified a few points and told me that she would like to have it read at my father's memorial service!.

  for those who have expressed a desire to sent flowers or cards in behalf of my father and his family, you can do so at the address below.

  Should I believe the Bible?

  no really, should i believe the bible?.

  i posted the above and topic title several months ago, before the h20 crowd got here.

  at the time, the silence was deafening, even from those who indeed believe the bible is inspired of god (btw, that "inspired of god, his word to man" part is implied in the question, so please don't waste your time nitpicking the question).

  Is that why there are all thse fundamentalist foaming at the mouth bible thumpers who sign all their posts 'May you have peace' or 'Drink lifes water free' or 'a slave of christ' now? I was wondering about that.

  god does not condone or plan the brutal murder of children!

  Babies are innocent. Good men and women whose only sin is being the wrong nationality, are innocent.

  Uh, sure..

  First .. the 'sin' was NOT their "nationality" for God is not partial. It was their spirit that was "bad." That was the 'sin.'

  but then how do you explian Esau being "bad FROM THE WOMB?"

  although YOU "see" babies as innocent.. you can only see their "flesh" NOT their 'spirit.' Therefore you are blinded as to whether a 'baby' really is "innocent or not." But God who not only "sees" the spirit but EXAMINES IT, KNOWS whether the infant is innocent or not. Hence:

  "..the way MAN see is NOT the way God sees, for mere man sees what APPEARS TO THE EYES but God sees what the heart is."

  I cannot beleive a supposedly rational human being wrote the above to try to make a case for a baby being evil....

  Can you imagine using the above defense in a court of law?

  man if I live 180 years I will be a great great great great grandad and have too many grandkis to remember and then christmas will be a nightmare and ill go crazy aaaaaaahhhhhh
