I think a general rule of thumb is do not act hastily when you are angry. We need to make sure we have the correct target before bombing them so hard they are indistinquishable from oatmeal

Interesting thoughts on the situation.. READ
by Brutus inhey everyone, .
everybody has called for everything from full scale nuclear assault to a more measured response, against targets ranging from the entire middle east to just the perpetrators.
the only country in which arabs can vote for their leaders is israel, where native born arabs are given citizenship.

My 'light-blue badge'
by freeman ini just want to share this observation with some of you if i may.
its a bit revealing about who i am, but since i dont have much to loose at this point (the big df is only a matter of time) so i think will risk revealing some identifying info about myself.
also i have a book that will soon be out concerning some of the clandestine work i did for the federal government (kgb, hackers, fbi, secret service), some real neat stuff that i can now talk about.

Arlington Road
Very very interesting movie about the kind of american terrorist groups opposed to the government..those who have beleifs similair to Timothy McVeighs. If we find out it was Americans behind this, then what? In this film Tim Robbins plays the leader of a secret american terorist group that has its base in suburban america, always moving, and always managing to lay the blame on someone else.
Under Seige
Starring Bruce Willis..after a series of bombings in New York city, the entire city is put under martial law, the military moves in and takes control of the city. Extreme prejudice against arab americans ensues..eerily similair.
Also check this out:
This is the album cover of a rapper who released this BEFORE the bombing happened..he will probably sell very few records-Dan

Actually it was a bit of misinformation the real story is:
Not that a plane hit the Twin Towers but that a TWIN ENGINE PLANE hit a control tower.Ummm..no your dead wrong. One plane hit the towers and on live TV a second plane smashed into the building. I saw it with my own eyes. Several minutes later the Pentagon was bombed.

JWD you live in Japan? Interesting, I took 1 year of japanese in college, I can read katakana and speak some simple sentences..umm..lesse..watasi no namea wa pimp daddy dessu.
But isn't it much much more common in Japan to commit 'honorable' suicides when faced with some sort of financial or embarassing mishap? In western cultures suicide is usually seen as unhonarble and cowardly.

Athiests with a Social Conscience?
by ChuckD insomething said on another thread got me thinking about the assumption that many people have that religion is somehow a prerequsite for charity.
i think that it is quite the opposite.
for example, rather than believe that god told me to help out my fellow man, i feel that there is no god, and therefore it is everyone's responsibility as a person to do charitable deeds, since god isn't going to set anything right himself.

I give daily to the worthwhile charity of me. Just this morning I selflessly purchased a snickers bar and gave it, without any expectations of repayment or thanks, to myself. It was quite yummy.
