No, if you want to have a relationship with God you would go to Him not me.

Have you somehow found a way to tap into a vast spiritual energy reservoir that is denied to a very large number of other, and otherwise ordinary, humans?

Yes, and you can too. God tells you all about it in His Word.

The FACT that does remain is that there are MANY individuals that have had these "experiences" for many years. The fact that there is a church within many Christian denominations has demonstrated that there is a universal truth that we can all,......

Which is why some have chosen to see what the "supernatural" or God has to say.

Have you proven its existence or is this something taken on faith? I don't have to prove the Holy Spirit exists, The H.S. proves existance to each believer.

What if you don't follow any faith, are you therefore deprived of knowing truth? Yes

I believe that man's EGO is at the heart of religious contention, not Biblical truth.

I do not define the H.S. as awareness, however I would say that the H.S. is the "vehicle" which brings about the awareness of the true God.

This is the express job of the Holy Spirit. But the helper, the Holy Spirit, which the Father will send in my name, That one will teach you all things and bring back to your minds all the things I told you. (this shows God working with our intellect not our ego)John 14:26 and The Spirit itself bears witness with OUR spirit that WE are God's children.(this shows God's ability to communicate His truth to many people) Romans 8:16. These works of the Holy Spirit are, infact, the very way that God brings about unity within the body of Christ or the true church.

Do you understand that there is a BIG difference in Jesus' way(kindness/love etc.) being the way we are to live our lives and Jesus saying He is the Way?

Follow his example of service and loving your fellow human being and I would think that one has found the real TRUTH

is what you said, but Jesus is the truth. The truth is not the church. by following His example and loving your fellow human being you MAY be included as one person in the true church.

Example: Pastor there is someone chewing gum in the sanctuary. Pastor says, actually young lady, the church is chewing gum in the sanctuary.

The Church is the greatest and most important institution in the world. The foundation for the church as a society among men was laid by the Son of God himself, and it was inaugurated under the guidance of the Holy Spirit. It was established that men might POSSESS a spiritual habitation, a home of the soul.

The church is a redemptive force, the only redeeming agency through which the Holy Spirit works for the salvation of men. The church represents life-giving realities. In the midst of the variable, the transient, and the unstable, men turn to it for certainty, security, and a sense of the abiding and eternal. It has been the guardian of humanity's highest ideals and aspirations.

"I will build my church; and the gates of hhell shall not prevail against it" Matt 16:18 The church began its mission on the Day of Pentecost and "there were added unto them about three thousand souls" Acts 2:41 The church is everlasting! The church includes all the truly born-again souls, lovers of truth who accept the bible as thier rule of faith.The church of God includes all who preach all of the New Testament and endeavor to practice all of it, to stretch and strive to match the standard set by the morning church. With government acceptance the "church" became popular and gradually lost its purity and power, as more and more unredeemed persons were accepted as members. Today more than ever before you will not find the church in a particular building. Today, there are too many "churches". Jesus said I will build my church. not two or three or 300, one. Is the security promised and love for the Kingdom of God in your heart? The church is "still" everlasting.

i've ben waiting for an oportunity to "reverse witness" to them for 3 years now, and i have a chance to do something good here.. .

where do i start?.

Dear Zev,

I had 2 JW's here 2 weeks ago. They were making a return call after placing some mags 2 weeks previously. I had told the young fellow that I did have a question re: help from Jehovah. When He did show up again to answer my question he brought with him a "sister" that I had rebuffed much earlier. she remembered me and said as much. Any way, the moment we got sat down I said my question regarded their dogma re: the Holy Spirit. I said that I thought That when the WT said that the H.S. is not a person that It seemed so misleading to me. I said that I thought that it was a good idea to look at the scriptures to see the whole picture. and before they could say anything I said that I thought it was so important because Rom 8:9 says that If Christs spirit does not dwell in you you are not His. and vs 14 says for all who are led by his spirit are God's sons. then I asked them to turn to Gal 5:18 where it says that all led by the spirit are not under the law. I suggested that the flip side of that coin is that If that spirit is not in you are under the law. You can not call yourself a Christian. She looked positively stunned. then she said well this actually speaks about the F&DS class. I said it does not say class...madam. she said ok. whe talked about the H.S. some more and the fellow started to tell me about how you can see in some people's work, artists for example, the characteristics of the person I said yes you can these characteristics show the persons ..."personallity" He agreed with mme. She shot him a look and that was the last thing he said before he said goodbye. She continued to try and recover lost ground, She told me "I WILL NOT say that I have the H.S. in me" I said OK. She said that she liked talking to people like me because she is used to talking to "those born-againers" I was ready to wrap it up at this point so I reiterated the fact that If you wouldn't admit that the H.S. is in you thaen you couldn't call your self a Christian At this point I reached across the table very near her hand and told her that I would never say that she was not a Christian. Both of them looked at my hand like it was the most unexpected gesture they had ever witnessed. I then said that to call yourself a Christian without admitting to the indwelling H.S. is false testimony before God and man. She said well.....you've given me something to think about. I said that I was afraid that she might not think about it. suffice it to say.... I took the lead in witnessing. using only these scriptures. She was visably flustered through the 45 mins. that they were here. you must take the lead, Zev, stay on track, stick to one "good" point. pray before and after that the H.S. would show them the truth that you are showing them. I thought that because we were talking about the H.S. in particular that any ministry of the H.S. to her might be noticed more by her. The Word of God does not return to Him void. I have not seen them in two weeks like I said but when they were walking to their car I could not help but smile thinking that they might be saying something like, I don't think that we gave a very good or thorough witness. funny stuff. But seriously, It breaks my heart to see people, that actually WANT to know God, that are soooo far away from Jesus.
