  An experience at Bethel

  i was just thinking of something i observed on a visit to bethel some years back, that at the time struck me as odd, but now that i look back on it, it might be revealing about their financial situation.

  please feel free to agree/disagree with me and also bear in mind this is some years back so my memory may be sketchey.

  i remember walking into the front entrance of the bethel to do a tour.

  What they do is make sure that they ask these people in visible areas to do things like this so that when tours come through and people see them they will obviously ask why they are doing. This gives the brothers the impression that they are not squandering money and everything is going to good use.

  However they levels of wastefulness are extreme.

  For instance every meal has literally tons and tons of food that never gets eaten. When I worked in recycling the amount of untouched food from just one dining hall was enough to feed over 1000 people at each meal. They would not give any to the homeless because they were afraid of the possible lawsuits.

  When brothers donated clothes over 50% of said clothes were thrown into the garbage because they were unfit for bethel wear. They may have had a logo on the t-shirt etc...

  The list goes on and on with how easily they waste money yet you have people donating their last pennies in order to send it to these people

  In the office complex there are only communal showers. 20 plus shower heads. We replaced the soap as needed but every Friday I'll never forget Carlos Reyes told me to collect all the soaps in the wall dishes. Get a bucket of hot water and mash them together.

  If if you think that is bad I am sure a lot of people could go on for daaaaays about the Tomfoolery

  They are just stingy. I cleaned the locker ions in 3 floors when I was there. I had to collect the small pieces of soap left in the shower, put them in a bucket of hot water and mash them together to make a bigger bar to be used later.

  If They Stopped Shunning Tomorrow?

  imagine that the cult decided to stop shunning family members on the proviso that the dfd person was not actively trying to attack the cult.. (please don't debate whether or not this is likely - it's hypothetical).

  how would you respond to your family?.

  personally i think i would be less than cooperative.

  Something terrible has just happened

  the neighbor child came over to play with my youngest child.

  i think she's about 4 maybe 5. well anyway there was some strawberries out on the counter and she asked if she could have one and i said no.

  when i looked over later i saw her sneak one.

  I know a number of kids from the time I was younger till now who were baptized as young as 8 to about 12 years old. I can see this backfiring on them in the long run now because during those years most parents would just simply tell their children that maybe they should wait, or they simply just assumed that their kid was not ready and would just say no. Come to think of it my mom was 10

  Now with the GB PROMOTING this you will have a bunch of 9 - 13 year olds get baptized, then go to high school and realize that they like boys or girls and the breaking up of families will begin earlier than before.

  4 years ago in Tampa Florida this happened over party celebrations during holiday with 10 year old. No discipline was delivered because of age and lack of understanding.

  I have known quite a few. Not including those at bethel.

  One was barely sane and killed her husband. She was a whack job. I am not kidding.

  one was a pioneer sister humble as could be, very caring and I think she was a really good person.

  the other wore fishnet stockings and only came to the memorial. All of them in New Jersey

  now i have always kept to myself discussing and speculating about this with any witness.

  i am speaking of the very talented musician prince.

  i remember watching the naacp awards one year ages ago and hearing him thank the one true god jehovah and falling off my couch.

  Are the writers in the writing department purposely misquoting people?

  after reading that great post about the june 1 article on science i got to thinking.

  although it is great to believe there is this huge group of guys in the jw writing department that are constantly looking to mislead us by twisting the words of scientist etc... i really think it is more likely they are google researchers that do not have the ability to grasp the thoughts that are being expressed in the scientific article they quote mine from.. i honestly believe the reason that this happens is because of the individuals they use to write these magazines.

  these are not college educated men.
