  All men privileged to live in that "new world" would return to man's original state, including man's original color and language. And what was that color and language? White and Hebrew

  Spoke with Dad 17 years later!

  i left 17 years ago when i was 16 and never have spoken about the jw`s with my dad (ex po)since regarding any topics.well i know any questions i ask will have the traditional one way answers with him, being in so deep his belief system in the society is untouchable!.

  but i knew a few topics that he would have no clue on ie:blood in bulgaria,united nations and past articles on blacks.upon bringing up every topic denial was his first reaction "no no no,no way" then after showing him proof he reasoned just as the watchtower would.trying to tell him that the watchtower would lie is beyond his belief.. the great thing is that he took a copy of the letter from the un,i wish i could be at the next meeting to see the look on the elders faces.it has been over 4 months since this scandle and they don`t even know about it,that in itself says something.as our conversation went on the more intense he got defending the watchtower just as i had expected.. well thank you internet for all my amo!the next encounter will all be quotes from the watchtower,that you cannot deny!

  come on guys fess up....do you want a woman who can cook?

  personally i love cooking...something about being in a hot kitchen...kneading bread...the way it feels under your hands...then sticking it in a hot oven and watching it rise...slathering butter all over it and eating it with your fingers...uuummm is there anything better?

  The great thing about cooking is that every night you fridge can give you a different meal,pasta can be CREAMY or a little spicy,rice can contain any kind of meat from fish to SAUSAGE.The BBQ is unlimited to marinating and never a miss.

  Traditional European cooking is meat and potatoes but it`s presentation is different between countries and so tasty with all there sauces,but my specialty is ROLADEN a German dish.A LONG piece of beef with a strip of smoked bacon a pickle,onion and a layer of hot mustard all rolled up and fried in the pan until golden brown and drippings saved for the gravey! SOOOOOO GOOOOOD!!!

  Good Ideas for Ex-Dubs!

  inspired by the april, 2002 issue of unte reader about socially cool ideas to help fix the world and spark your own creativity, i began to think that there are a lot of creative people on this board that might have suggestions of how to make a new ex-dubs life more enjoyable and their recovery more positive.. yes, of course there is therapy and reading c of c and these are something that many will benefit from but can we be more creative than this?

  here are a few ideas i adapted from the article that might have some appeal to someone coming out.. 1. plant a tree to mark your exodus from the borg.

  this can be a healing symbol to a individual to become life positive instead of following a life negative course.

  Cooking doesen`t do it for me Xena because I`m a great cook and the need for good food can be satified by myself.Although the thought of butter all over your big cans sounds great!I would get a rise for sure!

  I just want a woman who can cook in the sack and keep the receipies comming!A little different menu every night makes for a good adventure!

  I have said it before and I will say it again,Who cares if there is!They can do absolutley nothing to you or us and perhaps they will learn something along the way.

  there have been several newspaper stories published recently implying that brainwashing and mind control do not exist.

  this is very unusual in that, suddenly before the trial of suspected terrorist cult members, we start seeing spontaneous articles from different news sources telling the american public that mind control does not exist.. this has happened before.

  Sunday Family Dinner...Come and get It!!

  hey guys,every sunday i have a family dinner.family and friends are welcome,including dubs who can leave their religion outside my door.the house is alive with laughter,conversation,people playing video games,surfing the net,and watching the newest movie out.i have to start cooking early,so when people start arriving they can smell dinner cooking.before dinner there are appetizers,cold beer,wine,and a nice bottle of 12 year old whiskey for the gents.its always a fun time for everyone and it helps keep the family together.does anyone else have a day they put aside for the family?..

  We call it Christmas,Thanksgiving,Easter,New Years Dinner,Birthdays,Canada Day,Labour Day,Simcoe Day etc! Although most of these are religious holidays and I don`t believe in religion,to me they are a time when family gets together.Today my JW parents are coming over for dinner and will be bombarded with questions(my family JW day)!
