I tend to agree with logansrun....I have never heard of people being DF for french kissing....I have never heard of people being reproved for it either.

Did You Know That You Could Be Disfellowshipped For French Kissing?
by minimus ina number of years ago, a body of elders discussed the matter of "french kissing".
they came to the conclusion that this practice of "french kissing" was a disfellowshipping offense on the grounds of "engaging in loose conduct".
one young couple were judicially reproved for their "sin" and the elders felt that since the matter was not widely known, that they would be "privately reproved".

Having a lasting marriage or a better marriage are two entirely different things. I think JW's in general have lasting marriages...not necessarily better marriages. I lasted 14 years with my first husband...they were not the best 14 years of my life....but I was obedient and patient and waited on Jehovah - ha!!! I'm still waiting for Jehovah to change him into a nice person.

My mother has been told not to associate with her DF and DA kids. She knows my brother is a hard and fast apostate, and she suspects that I am....but she still visits us and claims immunity because her grandchildren are not DF or DA....she tries to find a balance and is comfortable with her stand. If the elders told her she would get DF for talking to us...I think my mother would continue to see us in secret no matter what the elders said or did. Good on ya mum...Happy Mother's Day!!

By far, one of the stupidest things I have heard
by freedom96 ina person i know, has a child, who is barely a teenager.
he just gave a talk in the hall, and guess what the topic was?.
i can understand a bible reading at that age, etc.

The Ministry School Overseer is obviously lazy. They are supposed to read the theme of each talk and match the student with the theme accordingly. It wouldn't surprise me if that elder is using a database where talk themes are matched with individuals in a rotation system. They are not advised to do this as some themes are not appropriate for the individual....they are expected to check each one manually. Some don't check, but they should.

i finally threw most of my jw hard cover books away.
i must have had about 50 jw books laying there on the floor in the closet.

book-servant at the kingdom hall would be pretty bad, but ministerial lawn servant is probably worse.. outside the society, probably my worst job was waitering.
i have a very short short-term memory, although this is more than made up for by my ltm, which means i made a really sh*te waiter, let me tell you.

Anything made with hops goes down well on a hot day. I don't suppose its a chick thing to drink beer out of a stubbie....but then I never was any good at being laa-dee-daa
The best beer in the world is Waikato!! Second best, Victorian Bitter (VB) IMHO
