Your mother is great! You mean more to her than the religion. Yep, she's great!
Oh Brummie I can't agree more!!
She sounds like my mother, bless her cotton little sox.

i'm so upset i don't know if i'll be able to make sense to you all.
how do you help a family member when he says he doesn't love his wife and wants to leave her and the kids to find happiness.
he's young and confused.
Sorry to hear about your friend's dilemma.
Did you find happiness leaving? How did your kids handle it? How did you deal with your kids hurt?
1. Yes I did
2. They accepted the changes and are well adjusted now.
3. By encouraging them to talk about how they felt and reassuring them that both parents still love them very much, and that we would both continue to love them but while living in different homes.
It can work okay if it is handled right - it just takes some getting used to.
All the best.

ever given any thought to your own funeral?
do you plan to have a memorial service, in a kh?
or in a church?
Pope
I've given this some thought, I've even chosen my funeral song - "Life without End at Last" - a real tear jerker !
I expect my service will be conducted by a funeral director - and the only JW's who will attend would probably be my ex, my mother and my sister.
I would also like a wake afterwards with guitars and singing, lots of food and alcohol and story telling followed by smiles and laughter. There's to be no tears at my funeral.
Makes me wish I could be there
~Beck~ *who always likes to be the first one to post on your threads but was too slow*
he said he wanted to get back together this very afternoon.
he didn't even want to wait till tonight.
he'd called me after seeing an ad i'd placed online and in a local magazine.
Sixy, some suggestions:
Dab (not splash) some nice perfume behind your ears, wear flesh coloured lippie (not too bright or it will make you look like a cheap tart - and we all know you're NOT cheap ), wear an off the shoulder frock, low cut with just enough crackage to be interesting when you LEAN over the bonnet, put on some modest jewellery so it appears you like nice things (ie. your truck is nice), don't forget to use that 'come hither' smile which I know you have, and pop a couple of breath mints in the event you have to deliver a speech on the benefits of owning such a fine automobile such as yours. Good luck.

hello it's been a long time since i was here just needed some input please from all loving parents...would you rather your daughter be:
1. married to a guy who's not really that great (history of having lotsa women, irresponsible) but seems to love/like your daughter.
2. be gay (with woman who is quite good, responsible and everything but - a woman...).
Gotcha
If I had to choose, I would pick number 2.
The same gender thing shouldn't be an issue.
For your daughter to be in a relationship, all you would hope for is that she is treated good, is loved, respected and most of all, is cherished by her partner as much as she is by her parents.
Just my thoughts.

so, according to the great minds at watchtower, and you all know we can trust them, adam was created in october 1, 4026 bce (morning or afternoon?
) and he had a 6,000 anniversary in 1975. correct?
and eve's creation would have marked the end of the 6th creative day, correct?
Pope, your girlfriend is pretty Is she from New Zealand?
~Beck~
by that, i mean, some witnesses will not just now "out" themselves because of various fears and concerns.
some of us are still "in the closet".
so to speak, because we're not ready to expose ourselves to the "loving brothers", just yet---at least not 100 %.
"In-ees" and "Out-ees".
1.Still a believer, and In - a true In-ee
2.Still believe, but Out - (DF or faded away) - an In-ee wannabe but really an Out-ee
3.Don't believe, but In - an Out-ee wannabe but really an In-ee
4.Don't believe, and Out - a true Out-ee
Did I miss any?
~Beck~ *who is a true Out-ee*

Adam will have been alive 30 years doing nothing, he couldn't even pick the fluff out of his belly-button.
What belly button ya noddy!!
watching them play, mate, have babies
I can't think of anything more erotic then watching dogs mounting each other and getting knotted together - yeah real sexy
Hello Pope you son-ova-gun!
~Beck~
oh, the horror!.
the tsa at the airport took away my lighter.
you dallas fest-ers know the one i bought in the warehouse district that looked like a gun?
Kaykay
Was it because it was shaped like a gun, or was it because it was a lighter? Or both? I can't think of what would be worse, losing one's lighter, or having some big burly (or were they small and scrawny?) security blokes poking around my back passage trying to get it out
Hi Xena, how are ya darls
~Beck~
over the weekend my cousin came to visit from mi, and her husband (elder) started to do his shepperding thing with me (have not attended meetings for over 1 year), and made a compeling argument about how the holy spirit is given by god only if you attend meeting and go to field service...etc, etc.
and the whole "faith and works" issue.
it was a different angle that i have never heard before, about me being a "instrument or tool" of god...blah, blah, blah... anyhow, it got me thinking about going back...especially when things are not going to well for me right now... (he said its because i left jehovah).. how can i convince myself that this is not true?
Anyhow, It got me thinking about going back...especially when things are not going to well for me right now... (he said its because I LEFT Jehovah).
That's why its called a Cult....that's how they recruit.....that's why we leave!
All the best with whatever you decide.
