i remember there was one that used to go to my hall.
he would say hi to my dad and my dad would ignore him.
i know now that my father feels bad for that, but at the same time he had no choice.
I remember the picketers at the international convention in Montreal, Canada in 1985. I saw them on the way from the stadium to the tent and trailer area they had set up. I don't know what their signs said though.
I don't recall seeing any apostates at Copps though, and I went to Copps right from the time they first started using it (actually I remember when they built Copps as my mom's office overlooked the site) until I moved in 2000, with the exception of the couple at the Skydome.

if it did happen, i would be more impacted because jws come to my business, too.
other than that, i think it would have very little effect-----and you????
?
At this point, it would have no effect on my life.

I remember many years ago, a man responsible to starting all this mess in our lives, he used to play in a band and when he became involved with the jws, he refused to play certain songs with inuendos in them. It was so weird, he would go off the stage and sit out a certain song the band was playing. Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha
That reminds me about going to the roller rink as a kid with a bunch of JW's and a "bad song" would play, and all the JW's would quickly get off the rink ASAP! I didn' tknow why as at the time I wouldn't be listening to the music. Then, I went beside a couple of older kids (teens) and they'd be bopping away in their seats singing the song, and one of the chaparones went up to them and said, "You know, if you're singing the song, you might as well be up there skating too" like it was a big deal or something. It's JUST A SONG!!!

wondering what you all put in your letters when you leave the jw.
so they wont bother you anymore or put the pressure on to return or do their guilt thing which they do sooooooo well.
i read where one ex put a note on the door.
I think a registered letter would gain more attention, and would hold a bit more weight in the minds of the person recieving it.
The person who gets the letter would be an elder 95% of the time, and no one in the congregation would know of it, with the exception of the elders, but even then only 2 or 3 elders would know.

Mrs Kwin belly dances. Taken a few classes for it anyway.
I went to a gay bar a few weeks ago and was told that I "danced pretty good for a straight guy." Unfortunately for me, it at first gave the impression that I was NOT straight and led to an awkward experience.
