The thing is you have to come up with a good premice for the show. Yes, the JW's are well know, but what of their practices or beliefs are extremely outlandish?

I was talking about this with a fellow poster actually well over a year ago, maybe closer to two and we thought a good story line was that Kenny's parents became JW's. They're trailer trash so they could show how JW's focus on the poor. Then, you'd have Kenny get hurt, and being in critical condition so he needs a blood transfusion. But what blood fractions could Kenny use? His family isn't sure, oh can he get this organ transplant? Oh my god, the JW's killed Kenny!

OK, somebody's got to add to that. Good thing with SP, is they usually have two or three story lines going at the same time, so it may be easy to actually do it, they'd just have to find another half story to match it with.

this is a subject i've been wanting to approach for awhile as i've noticed on the board at times there have been wisecracks about janitors who were jehovah's witnesses .

now , hey, i'm real, have a good sense of humor, and can take a joke like anyone, be the brunt of a good joke, hell, i laugh at myself when i work alone at nights- just to keep entertained !

I hear what you're saying Senior Flipper. I don't know if people actually look down on people in that profession as they mock the fact that such high numbers of JW's do it for work, especially elders and pioneers. But when you get into a profession that pays well (as you pointed out) and it's hard to get out of it, even if it is sometimes a mindless job.

I drive a truck and I hate it. I don't use my head 90% of the time I'm working, but it pays well and without a university education or a trade, I'm not sure where else I could go and make what I do. Am I dumb? I don't think I am. I had a full scholarship from the university of Osaka (I have a family in with an English prof. there) that I turned down to raise a family. With that I could have done much, much more then what I am, but you know what? I am where I am, and I do what I do and as for right now, I'm paying my bills and raising my kids so they'll have that opportunity when they're older. I'm breaking the cycle, as it seems you are as well.

i, like many others perhaps, feel very very strongly against people stealing personal possessions.

there is a very clear law against it for starters but even without the written law it's still a no no in most eyes.

they belong to me so don't abuse and take them.. so anyways last month my car got stolen whilst i was visiting a friend at the local hospital.

I'd be happy for your brother he got the parts that he needed and quit being oversensitive. He had nothing to do with the theft of your car and at the point that he purchased the parts the car was cut apart, totally destroyed. Sure, getting your car stolen is a tough thing to go through, but don't go trying to look to blame others where there is no blame.

just incase mine has been registered so it can be tracked.

we have already had one bad experience this week, had to send on hubby's xbox console as it overheated and died, the post have "misplaced" it, im so glad we have it insured.. es.

I spent $60 on 2 of these things in the spring, and although a good concept, they're horrible for the kids to use. I have a 9 y.o and a 7 y.o and we tried using them off a dock up North and 3/4 of the time the bobber wouldn't open to let the bait out, and it was always difficult to get back into the rod. I wouldn't recommend getting it.

Science. Humans have too many design flaws to consider us amazing. Why do we share 50% of the DNA of a potato?

Most theists will argue that we need a "first cause" and that first cause is God. It's one possiblility, but there are many, many others.
